Sad that Nintendo keep getting the cheap snes pixelate graphics games like this while ps got all the big AAA titles from square enix. Nintendo is no longer considered relevant anymore by all these jpn big third party devs
I don’t think you realize how difficult it was to actually make this game. This was made in Unreal Engine 4. AAA doesn’t mean amazing, realistic graphics. Unless you’re actually expecting one of Square’s bigger AAA games like Final Fantasy XVI to run on the switch, which is even sillier. Take some time to actually look at how many of these games are put out on Nintendo consoles by Japanese devs, and how well they sell before coming to a conclusion like this
@@andybru meh i respect your opinion but if these third party devs really want to make modern 2d games then why not using more advance graphics? That Kickstarter eiyuden chronicles games is perfect example on how to make modern 2d style games. This pixelated snes graphics games is outdated and cheap cashgrab from squareenix. Also this game is no longer exclusive for Switch it's also on ps. So basically Nintendo don't have exclusive right for this cheap pixelated graphics but also don't have the big AAA titles so yeah third party devs no longer consider Nintendo relevant compared to Microsoft or sony

Octopath as of current sold over 3 million units, which means there’s still a market for these types of games whether you like it or not, and if there’s a market for them, then Square is gonna make more of them. That’s how business works, it’s as simple as that. Don’t really know why you’re upset
