I started playing the game today (didnt play the demo) and started with Partitio as main character.

Enervating Slash nullifies all Hikari's buffs, not the enemy, The more unique buffs Hikari has (like Patk, Eatk, Regen, Incite, VengefulBlade, Crit, Accuracy, etc.) the stronger his attack is. Stacks don't matter.
That is either a bug or it is written wrong in the demo. As the wording in the demo is pretty clear that is nullifies the positive effects on one foe.
@@purplatypus7405 yeah. It's a mistranslation issue. We've been testing Enervating slash against enemies for a while.

I just have been ignoring it thinking it was bugged or something since it didn't remove buffs or maybe it only removed some buffs
Makes sense now though, but seems much worse.
@@trevorstillson8126 not necessarily worse. A good application of this move is when using it to finish fights faster or when your buff almost runs out. It can even deal higher damage than Warrior Divine skill when done right.

I think they changed surpassing power so that it wouldn’t sound too similar to latent power. I also think that surpassing power is the better name though.
his best learn skill is "Mythical Bore" is cost based of hikari Sp and consume all sp. the more hikari SP, the the higher the Dmg is! with good comb of buff he littery can do 9999+ dmg early on if u have this skill....

hikari is really a badass
I'm a bit disappointed that we have to manually uncap the max damage with his ability again. It feels like a wasted slot (and ability) since you'll always want to take it on damage characters later on. The cap should just be a 99.999 by default or under certain conditions like only on x4 boosted moves, so you can choose more interesting skills more flexibly.
Yeah, i would have loved that we didn't have to waste a slot skill to raise the cap, and that it should progress normally. Hopefully they get rid of that in the third game.
I feel like incite is a much worse ability in this game. Because of how latent power rewards characters getting hit. Meaning, while hikari gets to do his special skill way more often,the other characters might have a hard time getting even one.
Depends on the way you play around it. It's definitely not something you activate all the time, but if you're just setting up for a huge burst, this can give you the time to do so. Not to mention the synergy with Vengeful Blade.
