- In 2018, we launched the Audi e-tron, the luxury electric SUV. The decision to name it just e-tron, was to demonstrate how important EV was to our future; like when we released our first all wheel drive vehicle in the 80’s, the quattro. Just as quattro went on to become the name for every all wheel drive Audi, the same now goes for e-tron on every Audi electric vehicle. When it then came time to refine our most important vehicle in 40 years, there was a lot to live up to. Introducing the original e-tron redefined, the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron; the no compromise electric SUV and sportback that's ready for anywhere, and any lifestyle.

Im in the process of buying a 2024 Q8 e-tron, should have it in about a week.
I'm an Audi owner and I really enjoy my A4. However the segment saying the charging has gotten to the point major corridors are covered maybe factually true but often times the chargers are either broken or charge at a very low rate. We have a long way to go before it's as easy as filling up with gas.

I bought my ‘23 etron a few months ago and love it. Was this filmed in Utah? It sure looks like it to me.
Don’t be like me and order one with an “ambient lighting pack” thinking you can change the colour of the interior lights. That’s an extra option because why wouldn’t an £85k car have that as standard 🙄
In the USA, I have an 82k premium plus and am disappointed by the white ambient accents and lack of heads up display. I would have had to pay 89k for the prestige trim to get colorful ambient lighting. The car drives great but unless you have a prestige trim, the car doesn’t “feel” like an 80k+ vehicle. Lots of molded plastic areas that I’d expect to have been covered in leather.
@@TheVandersteve I ordered the Black Edition I’m unsure what that is in the USA, it’s 1 down from the Vorsprung here in the UK but yeah disappointed to learn it won’t have the HUD, multicolour ambient lighting or the LED light across the full bonnet. I currently have a BMW that’s nearly £30k less brand new and it has the HUD/MC lighting.
@@Ryyyzzorfunny enough I also came from a BMW (a 330i that cost $52k, so a 30k difference as well) and that comes with ambient lighting and a HUD. The Launch Edition in the US is the top of the line version (other than the Q8 Etron S) so here, that would be a Prestige trim with all of the available options. I’m unsure if we have a Black Edition here, but we do have an S-Line package that includes upgraded wheels and all black exterior accents.
@@TheVandersteve we have sport, s line, black edition and then vorsprung then the SQ8 version. We should’ve stayed with BMW lol! I’m not a big fan of the IX to be honest I think the Q8 looks so much better,

This is absolutely infuriated by the recent actions of Audi, actions that I've confirmed through conversations with their representatives Steven A, Alyssa V, and Miranda A. They've informed me that Audi has quietly ended support for Gen2 MMI with the myAudi app, and what's even more infuriating is that they've made no public statements regarding this major change.
Audi has simply decided to shove off all of its previous customers, those who've been loyal and purchased vehicles from 2019 and older. Instead of maintaining the level of customer service and product support one would expect from such a prestigious brand, they've chosen to save money at the expense of their "valued" customers. It's a slap in the face and a clear indicator that Audi values profits over people.
So, to all prospective Audi buyers, be warned: today it's Gen2 MMI, what will it be tomorrow? And to Audi, your actions have been noted. This is not how you treat customers who've trusted you, and I can't help but laugh bitterly at the irony when Audi refers to its customers as "valued." 😂😂😂
