Great video! I like all the detail you put into your reviews. It shows you have experience. I know these videos can't be easy to make so thank you for being a good Ham.
Thank you for the kind comments. I am glad my passion for Begali keys comes through on the videos. 73 de G0PNM
Good review, Pete. Many thanks. I especially appreciate how you show the key from all sides (which the Begali website does not). You also show how the key attaches to the base and how its magnets really do do the job on a steel surface. All very helpful.
Is the ANNOYING background music really necessary? 73.
You have a good fist. I enjoyed listening to your Morse Code. 73
Interesting key... But rather horrified at your screwdriver use! Many a good screw on expensive or collectable keys are gouged by poor screwdriver choices. Get a set of gunsmith screwdrivers and match the screw to be tightened to the right size and shape screwdriver! All part of looking after a good key and one element in maintaining its value, which is something collectors would look for. Otherwise, great videos and a good way to see a Begali in use before committing to purchase. Maybe the Sculpture Swing next?
Very nice review of these keys. Thank you
I have the Adventure Mono with the magnetic base, KX2, and KX3 bases. I was shocked by how much I like the magnetic base. My flight board has a thin steel plate encased in marine epoxy to provide a place to stick magnetic things (all my keys and paddles have magnets). I just picked up a Traveler Light and am already thinking about just getting an Adventure dual so I can have a similar setup to switch between if necessary.
Hi Pete. Great review. I’m getting one of these. Probably sell my Expedition first 😁

Very nice production Pete, have you done or planning to do one on on the B. Intrepid? Maybe not a 'Bug-man", not everyones cup of tea I know. 73 Nigel
Hi Nigel, Yes indeed, I have the Intrepid here and will be doing a video very soon, as well as the Graciella. 73' Pete
I've learned on and only used iambics. Are Monos better? I do use squeeze.
Peter, how far off the table are the paddles when attached to the magnetic base? They look farther up that the other Begali keys. I was wondering if it was more of a strain on the wrist to have the key that far off the table. Thank you for your videos. I just ordered a Simplex Basic.
Thanks Melvin. The paddles were not high at all. In fact with the base attached, they felt perfect!
Please remove that distracting background music.
Good review, but lose the distracting background music. It isn't necessary. 73
Noted thank you. 73’
