Hi Pete. Thanks for another great video. I'm sure I'd get in a terrible mess with all those different adjustments, will be sticking to my Signature!

Nice video. This bug seems like it had a great speed range.

Hi Pete. I'm trying to find your video about the Graciella...seems to be a great key....on the internet I could only find a few rather poor picts...

Nice video, never used a bug, this was informative. Also, I didn’t realize 10.123 was the “Bug frequency” which certainly explains why it’s usually quite active. That background music was too high by the way, it really got in the way of your voice and the cw segments.

I love the FT-950 - had one with the AC0C filter mod and always regretted selling it - as I regret selling a lot of radios, but that's the trouble with lots of interests I guess! Great video 73 DE M0SAZ.

Thanks Mike! I appreciate the comments greatly. I have moved on from the FT950 and now run an FTdx10.
More Begali videos are coming early in the new year! Keep watching the channel.

Hi Pete - enjoy you Begali videos. Can you tell me abt the cord thaat comes with the key? I know the jack is 3.5mm, can you tell me what the other end that plugs into the radio is? 3.5 or 1/4". Thanks!

Hi Rich. Thanks for the message. The cave that comes with all the keys is a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS. For some models, such as the Intrepid, requires you to snip off one end of the lead and ‘hard wire’ by soldering onto the key. What I like to do is to buy a bunch of leads which have a 3.5MM stereo (TRS) socket on it. I then solder the lead and socket onto the key. That way I can have a socket on each key and can swap them out quickly.
On the radio end of the lead, if the radio requires a larger plug (think they are referred to as a ¼”) then I used a simple step up adapter. 73’ Pete G0PNM

Thank you for informative video Pete. I have one on order and one concern I have is that it will negatively affect my iambic technique. Are you finding that at all?

Wonderful video. Would you know if this is the right or left handed bug? I have my keys reversed from this it would be helpful to know before I order one. Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for the message. You can order either a left or right handed model on the Begali website.

Nicely done. However, for that price point, I'd don't expect to have plastic parts. Fernando N2FQ/6

Nylon I believe. Reduces noise compared to metal on metal.
