The renting idea is fantastic!!! Great video....
Thanks bro AWSOME video with great details man i appreciated it 👍
You dee man. Excellent presentation information I wouldn't able to find r skewered thank you
Great info! Thanks 😊👍
On the ENTERPRISE Terms and Conditions... It specifically says YOU CAN NOT carry Passengers or Goods FOR HIRE. You are in breach of contract using a rental for ANY GIG DELIVERY or PASSENGER service.
Thank you…. That was my first thought.
Yeah like they would know lol still do it
Uber has a rental car program. I'm not sure about being in breach 🤔
Oops 😂 used an Audi & Mercedes. It was fun
Hyre you can rent for gig work
Great video. I didn't see any rentals for $1 but I saw for $6 For some reason at Miami Airport you see one for 6 and then the rest is up into the 20's and up. Fort Lauderdale Airport you see for around the same but the prices go up to about eleven. still a good deal.
Thanks so much for the great information. My very first car accident 2 weeks ago, I was completely totaled. I was in a doordash delivery at a red light, guy coming up behind me didn't see me at all (he was txting). The body shop literally said "this car is never gonna see the road again" plus it was a 2002. The back door was totally smashed in, and the frame bent so much that the driver side and side door were stuck open. I was like "ballpark if I wanted to fix it?" 15k. HA! It's GONE. Cleaned it out, got my plates, took one last look, sighed, walked away.
What is scary is if it was a small car I'd literally be dead. This was a minivan I had, so imagine the size of a minivan taking that much impact vs what would happen to a vw beetle.
I'm glad an uber driver mentioned hertz and that he was driving a rental, as I told him my situation. Now watching this video, I think I might give it a shot next week seeing as I'm waiting on insurance and who wants to buy a car immediately? I might as well stack some money and experience a rental car for the first time. Thanks so much dude. I got too dasher this month and the accident was on the FIRST of the month lol... so I need to jump back in the game
Great video JoEzzy, I have a lot of family who moved to Florida, and wanted to do Lyft Uber out there when I visit, especially when in Orlando, where I was for a second during Katrina, while New Orleans was recovering. The transponder issue is what I had concern about from an outsider standpoint. How and where does one get a transponder or something that deals with those tolls because there are so many tolls out here in Florida, especially in Miami and etc?
I miss Florida man. Here in Oklahoma the cheapest is 55 a day plus insurance is like 39-45 a day.
There is a big problem with this and you my friend have to be careful. I was thinking to do the same BUT.... you are using it for commercial purposes. This is why UBER rentals charges more, because you are paying for rideshare insurance. You are not covered if you are online waiting for a rider and you get accident. So you have to cover everything yourself. Uber might cover you once your pick up but you still have to pay the $2500 deductible. Your insurance wont pay for rideshare or delivery accidents. They have add ons that you have to pay extra but it won't cover car rentals, unless your main car was involved in an accident, not if you are simply renting for UBER. They have ways of finding if you are using any of these apps and you were online. Its public information. The only thing I can think of maybe getting the extra insurance from the rental place and if you get into accident, you simply don't give any info that you were ridesharing or delivering. Not sure if the rental place insurance will look at the same log information to get out of paying.
Ps thank you for the rental car video Hope you have a great day make that Money
Great video thanks JoEzzy! You could sell your car; and do this instead. When my car was in the shop from an accident; I had to put a $300 deposit for my debit card with Enterprise....I kept re-renting the same jeep suv; until my car was finished...I did get the $300 back; but had to pay $42 day(state farm price).you got a great deal! So basically you're paying $150 week, that's decent.
$300 deposit is really good! $30 per day seems like the norm around here as well
@@jo_ezzy yes it wasn't bad
thanks bro used your method for uber eats only thing is they didnt have any economy cars so ive been driving around a v6 challenger burning alot of gas. hopefully next rental they will give me the economy car i asked for. averaging about 21$ a day for the car
Best to use a credit card for rental cars most credit cards will also insure you so you don’t have to pay for damage to the car.
It’s secondary issue though, 99% of the time
Insurance *
Good information🎄🎁👍🏽
🙏🏽🙏🏽
How do you get it on the Uber app it ask me for registration and insurance with my name on it
Hey so are you saying if you have a credit card they still charge just not as much? Or a credit card they don’t charge at all? Thanks for the video also.
I used my credit card, got a 2023 Rogue with no deposit/hold. Depending on your credit you can have a deposit up to $300 PLUS the rental estimate. I wouldn't even do it for $700 holding on my card.
Jo ezzy great video, most , I should say all of these deals at the airport. I live far from the airport. Enterprise will pick u up, within a 5 mile radius. I think after taking Uber to the airport or metrorail the price might be more expensive. What do u think is the best way to pick up the car. Great video.
Ps
Another video inspiration for you
The three phases of food delivery and commercial vs personal car insurance
Sitting in the parking lot phase one
Driving to the restaurant or store phase two
Delivering to the customer phase three
Driving back to the parking lot or driving around waiting for your next order phase one
This is important
Thanks man I appreciate your video help me it help start my company ✊🏿💯
HOW DID YOU GET ON THE PLATFORM WITH UBER TO GET THE CALLS>>>YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE REGISTRATION DOESNT MAKE SENSE ???
I’m leery of hertz after the news about the stolen cars
This may be an option in a city like Miami, but this is not the standard price across the country. Its closer to $300-500 for a week.
Great video....thanks for the content... what about hyrecar... I wonder because I went to the same dilemma and hyrecar here in California is around 30-40 daily for a prius for example but then they added 20 dollars more for insurance daily ....
I believe it's cheaper to do it weekly.
🤣🤣5:34.. that had me rolling .. Drive it to the ground lmao
Literally 😂
To all Hertz Uber driver , I want Uber drivers to know if you crash hertz rental car while using Uber app make sure to open claim because you have case %100 cover from hertz and Uber Hertz are not suppose to use those rental vehicle for rideshare .make sure to go to the hospital check yourself than after that look for attorney and Discuss the Situation about your case in the end you will get big settlement .
Can you please tell us how you got it on the Uber app?!
Renting is the way to go and if your scared if it gets scratch or something get coverage on it
Do you have to tell them that you used it for DoorDash or anything like that?
An does your profit take a hit in the long form doing this?
@@kell7267 no you dont have to say anything they dont even asked you what kind of job you do
@@kell7267 it depends on how you work if i rent a car i normally check prices on different websites and normally expedia have the best offers and i typically rent for 20days or more and i see rates of $16 per day and that i could easily make on 1 or 2 delivery
Renting the car situation
How long will
Your insurance company cover your rental with your commercial insurance policy
Is assuming the credit card company is going to cover it excuse , safe to assume?
Another great discussion
Did you have to bring in any bills or paycheck stubs because you used a debit card to get the rental?
I living the California, I want the rental a car till my car repair in the shop takes couple of days they want to charge me around $150 for the economy car for 2 days That's crazy
Owning is cheaper then renting the only different you gotta do maintenance to your car plus renting from those company they always charge the card more
Owning is cheaper for sure. This could be for people that don’t have the funds or credit to buy a car. Or maybe it makes sense to not use your personal car. Depends on people’s situation
@@jo_ezzy are you making good profit after gas and weekly payments?? How long are you driving daily??
@@user-mx5vr5ce7m dang my mane joezzy went ghost
i use doordash and you got to have a discount code and i do not know how to use a discount code cause i do not know how to find or get the discount code
Reason why uber charge so much is you can’t do Uber rideshare if you rent a car somewhere else.
I was wondering if a Chime credit builder card would work as a regular credit card for these types of rentals. Anyone have experience with this card?
They don’t accept chime or cashapp
What’s the deal with the 12 bucks for insurance, how does it work?
When I got to hertz they told me that the 12 for insurance that’s you select from Expedia is that if you get into an accident or any damage you pay for all the damages and need to send a claim to Expedia in order to get reimbursed
At the hertz rental I was at it was 26 a day
Thanks
Great video. Question though: since your not insured, what happens if you get in an accident?
I’m pretty sure the rental comes insured.
Ok good question so if I paid the 10 protection I don’t have to deposit the $600 rite ???
I like to rent directly on the company's website sometimes its a little cheaper.
I will try this next time
Sir, Can I use car rent to deduction when I do tax ?
I just got in a shitty situation. I was hit n the person sped off. I need a car asap to get back on the road to work to make money to fix my car n until I get it back 😡
Can you file a claim through insurance and let them know it was a hit and run? Maybe you can try this but you would have to pay for a deductible after it's fixed if it's not totaled out. But then if it is and you have full coverage, they would possibly write you out a check even though it may take some time and wait on the insurance claim to be reviewed.
yo but if the car gets stollen and ends up in seattle weeks later smellin like weed, they gone demand 1200 cash money, your out all
ya sound gear and, ya might want the 20 a day coverage extra my boy
When they return the deposit ?
Are you entering the rental car into the uber app- or what app are you using?
Or are you just not telling uber or hertz and driving it on the low?
Did you get an answer and what was it
Has anyone tried doing deliveries with rental insurance? Like, do the delivery platforms allow that insurance? I don’t have a car or car ins and I’m wondering if I can use a rental and that ins to deliver
I'm don't think insurance would cover
Since it's being used for work
how will the rental company know you’re doing deliveries, and how will the delivery company know you’re in a rental? unless you… tell them.
@@wutm8who's going to know though?
@@toxiicmayhemzz6686exactly. This is a self employment job anyway

Jo but thats with no insurance. I always get full coverage in case anything happens. that jacks up the price a lot.
Yeah. I'd never rent a car without getting their insurance. It's not as easy as people think to submit a claim for damage to a rental through
your own insurance. One of my managers at work dealt with this and he said it was a big headache and his insurance didn't cover the fee the rental company charged for each day the car was in the shop being repaired. He said never again. I used to be one who declined the insurance but not anymore. I hate to think what might happen if the car rental company finds out the car was being used for gig work.
We gotta drive super carefully without the insurance that’s for sure. But we use our own insurance if anything or pay out of pocket
@@jdesign260travels7 Yeap, its not worth the headache. God forbid you wreck the car and have to pay $10,000 out of pocket. Specially if you dont have full coverage. Liability will only cover the other car ( when its your own car). I don't rent cars without their insurance anymore.
Quick question & I can’t seem to find any video that explains . Are you able to rent a car through turo or hertz and use it for Uber rideshare ? And what is the fee if you are under 25yrs of age .
no you can’t, but you can if you don’t tell anybody😊. If in an accident.. just toss the food and cancel delivery and report it as stolen or soemthing…
Can we do deliveries in Rented cars?
Also, is extending a rental period easy to do and hassle free? Fee free?
Wow I have malibu 2022 and don’t need to rent
I just called Hertz and they said that I cannot rent a vehicle through them directly or a 3rd party, and that it MUST be rented through the Uber Driver App. I’m confused!
Yea because nobody does that lol. People just rent a car like normal and then do rideshare.
@@pproteincexactly lol
@@pproteinchow tho you need to upload the car insurance and car information how do you go around dat
@@raspy1135just do doordash, it’s not like uber or lyft.
What about miles....
Wait how did it go down?
Uber app only charges $200 deposit
This informations is not complete. The guy on the rental company will hassle you to get the insurance, there is 2 types of insurance, one for you and the car and another for the 3rd party. They hassle you to get those two insurances, they WILL NOT give you the care if you don't contract one or the two insurances. They tell you is mandatory, they stall, they almost stick it in your throat to get those 2 insurances and there is the catch, those insurances make the price double or triple. If you get the online quote like 150 200, be prepared to leave there with a 400 500usd final price.
That was for seven days?
Hey man! Were you able to rent a car and still Uber without insurance?
I paid 400 a week thru Uber rental not worth it if you ask me
I was expecting to see how much you made and if it paid for the rental did I miss it?
Hi thanks for commenting, this video was focused on how much I paid per day which was like $20 per day. You can do an instacart order $20 or 2 $10 Uber eats orders to pay it off every day :)
Do you do Amazon flex?
No 😢
What's the point of renting they gonna put on hold 600 too much
Don’t hit nothing and y’all get your shit back
This does not work in washington DC.
Cheapest is 80 a day.
Everything is more expensive in DC. ... just like NYC.
Ummmm December 24 is Christmas Eve 🤦🏾♀️
So basically if you need to get a rental. You’re going to need 700$
Exactly
Looks like $800 bucks😒
Lmao !!!!! For 7 days 150$ is super valid ! They’ll put a hold of 600$ some to make sure you return the car with no damage and clean but if you know how to use it for your advantage omg this is golden ! Literally money printing
It was $600 because he used a debit card. It's generally $200 hold for credit cards @@AreYouAMazed
@@AreYouAMazedDid you do Uber with it?
Lmao nah maybe 300-700 😅 piece of cake 😂
Hertz wanted a 300 dollar deposit
Yeah all these companies charge a heavy deposit, I paid $600 because it was a debit card. They won’t steal your deposit you’ll get it back minus the amount you owe
doesn’t work
Whats the deposit? Do we get back the Amount?!
How do you get it on Uber app ?
You can’t you have to go directly to Expedia website. And you can’t do Rideshare with it only eats and any other app that’s not Rideshare. I’ve seen a lot of comments about this
@@jo_ezzy yeah I do Uber eats but I’m saying how do you get the insurance to upload to Uber you know they need insurance on file
Uhaul
Problem with rentals you can not use them with Uber because Uber makes you enter registration in order to be listed on the platform. Also most rental places do not accept online bank debit cards. You have to use traditional banks, which I definitely do not use.
So this is not acceptable with Uber or Lyft ? Because of registration or insurance not your name on it for Uber or Lyft ?
This is total bs
@@leetos.4915 All he's doing is renting a car,you cant do Uber using a rental car unless you get a rental car through the Uber app.
@@wiredin4u I entered my registration. I live in Georgia.
Well that’s dumb, what do you use cash app 😂😂
It's not that cheap in Wisconsin. Those prices are crazy low.
Maybe south Florida is cheaper than most markets??
@@jo_ezzy I don't know. I just have never seen a rental car for $2 per day. Had I not looked it up for myself I would have never believed it.
@@moomoo7120 you meant $1? as shown on screen…
They charge double this out here 😅
Sort the Expedia app / website by price you’ll get the cheapest prices. Might have to commute a good amount for it though
WILL NOT ALLOW
I want to rent a car but I don’t have a credit card I only have a debit card. How can I rent a car or who do I need to go through
You’re going to need $600 for a deposit. That’s if they accept debit cards. When I did my research most big rental car companies accept debit cards like hertz did
Are you able to do Uber and Lyft ? Where you pick people up and drop them off?
Highly doubt it. These type of cars must be rented through Uber app not Expedia due to the insurance NOT mentioned your name at all for Uber to accept you for ridersharing purposes
Thanks for this 🙏🏽🫣 I am glad I watched this I just rented for 14 days for 600$ and hold of 700$ 😂 I was renting for 200$ a day instead I can rent for 14 days the same car for 600$ in total which would’ve got me only 3 days if I rented day by day 😮 thanks a lot
