you can go through out the mine camp just throwing a grenade over the camp... and destroy the laser with a grenade too in the middle path.
Was a great game, I was played that a lot with my friends and in solo missions kind.

3:36 I like the way that one guard said, "Bring it on."
2:02 Now you can't get the Phoenix pistol in the next level. If the AI working on that particular drone is killed on this level, then he will not show up in the next level to open a locked door that allows the player to enter a secret area to pick up a Phoenix pistol. It took me forever to figure that out after initially discovering it by accident.
Holy shit, you serious? I told my buddy about that once and he said he couldn't find it. He was kinda pissed at me for a bit until I showed him where it was on my copy. He thought I was lying at first but then just came to the next easiest explanation. I somehow was cheating. He then saw me go through the Airforce one at the top entrance later that night and it popped me into a different area and then came to a different conclusion; The programmers were wizards.
After reading what you said, I can safely say that is true. They're fucking wizards.

@@SacramentoNativ3 Let him see you, he will pull out a falcon 2 pistol. Run away round corner of radar building and disarm him when he follows you. Then just knock him out.

When i was younger I played thru this game and beat it on perfect agent with really no internet...I had no idea....at all...that you could ride those hovercrafts. I am so in shock rn

i just found a trick to this mission.
if you wanna avoid taking a hit in the very beginning, wait a few seconds for the cutscene to end with the guy walking, sneak up on him either pistol whip him to unarm or do it unarmed, quickly shoot the guy on the left and then quickly shoot the guy who is about to turn on the gun turret.
My only complaint on this particular level is they should have given the player the scoped Falcon 2. I know they give you the Magsec 4, but that gun is very inaccurate at long range. The scoped falcon 2 would have helped tremendously on this level considering it is far more accurate at longer distances. This was my favorite game growing up. I bought the N64 because of this game.
A lot of the levels and objectives from this game are stupid. This game doesn't stand the test of time.

@@Daswassuphomie I mean it has some stinkers and bullshit beginner traps on some Perfect Agent objectives.
Though the area where it really looks aged (aside from the obvious graphics,) is the performance and controls.
When you look passed nostalgia, the controls on shooters on the N64 are really clunky. And while this game pushed the N64 to its limit technically, it showed when the game ran really poorly on the original N64 hardware (thank god for the Xbox Live Arcade version.)
It's interesting that you say that the player should have had a falcon 2 scope in this mission. I definitely agree because some guards are pretty far out and the falcon 2 is the only gun that's accurate besides the dragon. But then in the next mission-area 51 rescue, especially in the beginning, it would have been nice to have a falcon 2 scope/silencer. Some of these guards if you could zoom in, you could easily do a head shot if you had the scope. I love it how it's supposed to be a highly secured area, but the guards don't call for back up or are unable to pull an alarm. Plus, why is it that only certain guard types can throw grenades? At least in 007 golden-eye, the original one, any guard could throw a grenade, except it was more rare. It comes to a surprise that most guards you disarm, somehow they have the institutes standard falcon 2 pistol. I figured the bad guys would have their own guns. This was one of the games I kept playing over and over as I loved the missions. And when my brother and I would play it in co op, we would often tease each other that I have the standard falcon 2 while you have the crappy silencer or scope. I don't know why, but only in two missions, agent dark used the standard falcon 2 without any variations. And sometimes, why couldn't you combine the silencer and scope together. I never understood that for the life of me. Then of course in some missions, why did you start out with fewer bullets? But then when Agent Dark Zero came out, it really lost me. It was a total revamp and it was nothing like the original. I wanted less sci-fi and more original content.
I didn't know I could shoot those lasers. I usually just maneuver around them. I'll try that the next time I play this game.

I don't know but by the reaction the guard had even he has no clue where he came from.
he will be there if you play the full cutscene. You won't be seen if you start the level as soon as he walks off camera.

SC64 was amazzzzzing growing up, then got a 95windows to enjoy the glory of it and C&C RA
One of my favorite missions. Love the setting, the music, and, the MagSec4. It would've been cool to see a modified version of this level in Multiplayer, like a base with various towers to climb for a vantage point

Are you playing on xbox live arcade version or something?
If you slowly crouch until you barely see it you can shoot at it without it seeing you. This is the N64 version. Xbox has better graphics.

You mean the one at 1:25? That one is not activated until the guy turns it on. Killed him before he activated the turret.

The antenna needs a bug, not the explosives. The explosives are for the computers underground.

Haha it's fine you're right, it's easier with the mouse and higher framerate. I also have some videos and livestreams playing with the original N64 controller though, and last friday I did a livestream from the original N64 if you're interested on it. It was GE though, not PD yet.

Nah this is N64 version, Xbox has better graphics. You can see a real hardware playthrough in the pinned comment.
@@Graslu00 the graphics on this are much better than n64 though? are you using a HDMI convertor or something? Also the smoothness of the motion and lack of framerate lag indicates it can't be n64. When you jump on the hoverbike especially.
