I purchased The Spirit of Yule back in 2019 (I think) and now it's a staple of our Christmas season alongside A Christmas Carol and The Night Before Christmas.
Years ago I realized just how cynical I had become regarding religion and the various holidays associated with them. It's easy to become a humbug about such things in a world where you can dive down rabbit hole after rabbit hole and our reality starts to appear like a curated simulation created by tyrants.
I made a choice to believe without proof, certain things must be so in my opinion and my life has been much happier and enjoyable. Some things are only available to you when you let go of your cynicism and skepticism. There are things in this world that are magical and I chose to let that reality be our reality. How's In Search of Hannibal coming along?
He's been showing some material on his Instagram account. An update would be nice though 😉
It's going VERY WELL. Will be doing an update for backers in the next few days. I'm extremely happy with the work - and like El Antro said in response, you can check out stuff on my instagram account: steininger_art . I can not imagine how much work could it be to do those animations with the stories like Dagon, but it still peaks my interest: are you planning to do any more in the future?
My main priority right now working on a graphic novel project called In Search of Hannibal that was initiated years ago but was in a holding pattern. It's my number 1 priority right now until I get it wrapped up - BUT - after that, I REALLY want to do some vidoes like Dagon, The Raven - but with higher production values. Eventually!
