I love the Martinez run. You can hear the Wisconsin fans erupt when they think they have him several times and then they get quieter and quieter and then the Nebraska fans get louder and louder.
They didn't stay loud for much more of that game though... Crazy that the team with probably the best play lost by 39 points. That game just made Nebraska look silly. Wisconsin did have 3 of their top 5 all time rushers on that team though, Montee Ball, James White and Melvin Gordon

Wood Chuck I know I’m two years late with this comment lol. Wisconsin did to Nebraska what everyone knew their weakness was. In Bo Pelini’s defense at Nebraska the safeties play run contain. Wisconsin got their backs in a one on one with Nebraska’s safeties. From there it went as you would imagine. Like you said, Wisconsin had 3 of their top 5 rushers all time that game. Put them in a one on one situation and we know who’s going to win. Pelini’s biggest flaw was his hard-headedness. If he could’ve been willing to adjust his game plan then Nebraska could’ve found a way to stop Wisconsin that game.
