Animals of Carriacou | Survivors of Hurricane Beryl

Hurricane Beryl made landfall on the island of Carriacou in Grenada. There were catastrophic damages to the island destroying homes and infrastructure.
The Animals of Carriacou were negatively affected as well. There were many dead animals and a lot missing.
Dr Carter was on the ground in Carriacou to access the impact on the animals and start a veterinary relief mission. Here is a look at some of the animals in the direct aftermath of hurricane Beryl.

Yes, I did a few surveys of the birds and there was still a large population of multiple species. that is a good sign.

These livestock need clean water troughs to survive. Can some be placed in the open.

yeah they do, but the livestock on that island have been well acclimated to low water intake and utilising ponds and puddles.
