    What’s the spark plug gap?

    • @theSuburbiaDad
      @theSuburbiaDad  Před měsícem

      I suppose it would depend on the engine you have. It should be in the manual for the Kohler and Kawasaki. Hope that helps! I’m sure by now you found it. Thanks for watching!

    Great job, excellent video, 👏 👍 I'd like to know how much oil goes in the engine and what type of oil, thanks

    • @theSuburbiaDad
      @theSuburbiaDad  Před 2 lety

      The oil quantity depends on the engine you have. My Kohler is 2 quarts (page 8 of manual below). In my experience, you’ll never get it empty - so it won’t take two quarts.
      The type of oil depends on the temperature you’ll run the engine. Your manual for the engine will give you the temperature ranges. For the Kohler, I’m running 10w30 full synthetic. See page 6 of the manual below…

      I would reach out to Ariens customer service. They can probably direct you to the correct part number. You might be able to just pick it up on Amazon. I don’t know if Lowes will carry it in stock; but maybe. Thanks for watching! Let me know what you find out.

    You seem happy with your mower. Did you buy from a big box store or a dealer? I keep hearing horror stories about big box store versions, but they all look the same to me.

    • @theSuburbiaDad
      @theSuburbiaDad  Před rokem +1

      I got mine a Lowe’s. I took time to go over it when I got it to make sure it was all good. I’ve had no issues at all. I haven’t even changed a belt yet. In two seasons, I’ve put about 150 hours on it. I would buy again without hesitation. Engine is still strong and it cuts great! I need to do a review. I cut about an acre. Thanks for watching and commenting! Hit me up with more questions if you have them.

      I didn’t get the bagger Ariens makes. With the amount of leaves I have in the fall, I needed something with large capacity. So, I went for the Cyclone Rake. It’s awesome!
