Installing Gloss Black Door Handle Covers AGAIN! | Removing And Replacing Faded Door Handles On F150

As most of you may have realized, My f150 door Handles have faded over the past year Sony’I put rnem on, today I put on a new set, hopefulky these last for ever. Because they were a pain to get off. The gloss black door handles look great on the Black f150s, it really sets off the look well.

I have them on mine and they also looked faded, but it was from waxing at the car wash. I just buffed them out and they were glossy again.

That keyless entry thing is a pretty big deal, I just had to replace the bezel around mine because the plastic clip on it broke. To get the pad out you pretty much have to disassemble the door. I just bought a 40 dollar aftermarket pad and bezel and put the new bezel on my keypad. Way easier and only took about 5 minutes. I’ve seen a couple of videos of guys installing it on an STX, looks pretty involved.

Yikes, that made me clench my teeth. Hair dryer or heat gun and some alcohol or Goo Gone would have made that much easier. Crazy that those were the only parts that faded.

Looks good except the gaps. They skimp on material to save cost but c'mon that's ridiculous. I just bought them so maybe I'll paint mine on the inside first. 👍
