We really need to educate kids differently about âstranger dangerâ they should absolutely be wary of adults trying to manipulate them or take them somewhere, but less than 1% of abducted children are taken by strangers. Itâs almost always someone that the child knows well

Hopefully he got the bag for standing there
I feel like the reason they helped was because they werenât scared of helping which is something to be proud of, talking to strangers in public is a hard thing to do which means they are good people
Or they saw the camera and wanted attention
there could've been a lot of ppl who wanted to help but didn't because they didn't want to look like they were trying to take the kid, once i was walking home alone and i am 15 but i sadly still look young lol im only 4'11, but a man driving by in a car on a busy street stopped the car and asked if i wanted a ride but i could tell he was nervous because he didnt want someone around him to get the wrong idea when he was just trying to help, i passed on the ride because i was fine and knew where i was going but after i said no thanks he just said "okay be safe" and then drove off, sometimes its hard for people to ask cuz they dont want someone to get the wrong idea of it, lots of teens these days might get weirded out by the idea of an older person asking them if they want a ride because everyone is paranoid but some ppl really do just want to help
but I'm not saying that everyone is actually a good person, but there still are good ppl in the world
@@dizzee6607 itâs weird for someone to ask a stranger if they want a ride.. they should know that itâs dangerous. if you want to help, offer them money for a taxi or bus or something. most people know that you shouldnât get in a car with a stranger, so why ask? you also donât know for sure what their intentions were, obviously they are gonna try and seem nice. they might have just been trying to help but itâs still strange.

AWWWW!!
Why this made me cry?Imagine a child really lost like this.I would be scared.
Omg ik how you feel, I have such a soft spot for lil kids
Once, while working in Walmart I noticed a kid walking around with wide eyes and no parent around her. I stopped what I was doing and talked with her and learned that she was lost. After learning that I helped her find her mom. It was quick, her mom was walking down the main isle and they noticed each other right when we stepped out into it. The mom seemed pretty upset with her daughter. The daughter was happy to be with her mom again, but I think also a little sad with the way she was reacting the way she was. Mom must've been really scared to have lost her.
As a mom who has lost a child in the store and then found them again, you have 2 emotions going through you at the same time! On one hand you are happy and relieved to have found them safe and sound and on the other hand, you are upset at them for either running away or not listening to you and staying with you in the store, and subsequently getting lost. It's an emotional rollercoaster being a mom! Lol
3:17

The girl who was the first one to approach the boy and she told that she felt responsible as the boy was put in a vulnerable position and she wanted to make him that there is kindness in the world just made me cry! I love you girl wherever you are whosoever you are! May Almighty bless you! Amen.
Heâs so adorable why would ppl just walk past him like heâs invisible đ„ș
Probably because they saw the camera and thought it was a experiment or people have anxiety or the people donât want to be seen with the child cause if the parents came they would think they were trying to kidnap him got to think about those things

Once I got lost during a school trip in a very busy place. Yes, officer, this comment right here.
The guy in the red hoodie made it seem like he didn't know what to do because he was an adult male stranger. I think a lot of men would be uncomfortable talking to a little kid, being accused of being a perv or a creep if the parents turn out to be right off to the side. He was like... be better if i was with a girl figure.
Yeah. And jail is just s room
If I were lost, I wouldnât hang my head. I would look around, wide eyed.
Then I would cry
I'll never forget the day I was working at Target a couple years ago. A little girl, around 3 years old, was by herself and crying. I went over to her, calmed her down, then we looked around the area to find her family. Her family came over and yelled at me for holding her hand (this was before COVID). They never thanked me, but instead they told the manager that I should have never touched their daughter and I "took her". I don't regret helping and would still help a child in need.
This reminds me of when I was 5, I went to a country and I was lost because I was distracted by a toy and my parents thought I was with them and left... after a while I realise I was lost! I cried very loudly everyone just walked past me... i cried even louder and louder as I walked around that place, luckily when I was about to lose hope and thought that I will be away from my parents a police came up to me! Initially I was scared cos it's a stranger but after the police lend me a telephone to call my mum(that time I alr know my mom's no.) I was relieved and was able to find my parents! Even tho it happened 7 years ago I still can remember that very very clearly...đđ„đ«đšđš

Y'all in the comments act like y'all don't ignore amber alerts.
What do you want us to do? Read the Amber Alert, put on our cape and go run out into the open searching for the person? The Alert notifies us that someone is missing, not demanding us to go find them immediately.
I ignored one yesterday... but Iâm home all day and itâs not like ima be looking out my window all day trying to see if the stolen car passes. With stolen cars they just steal them take things and dump them. Thatâs what happened to 2 people in my family.
I mostly get stolen car alerts Iâve only gotten one of a missing child 3 years ago.
the last time we got an amber alert it was for a child that wasn't missing aparently this guy's car was stolen and he wanted the police to find it faster so he said that his daughter was in his car and they eventually found it but in came out that the daughter was safe at her mom's house I am pretty sure the guy went to jail afterwards.
Alerts perhaps but what you're looking for is a child aLone to not necessarily car plates .
girl we canât run around outside looking at license plates and looking for the kid. itâs highly unlikely weâre gonna find them. we donât have tracking methods that police and other people do, itâs nearly impossible.
Even as a smaller kid. (Like under 18) I would LOVE to help a lost innocent child
Thatâs mad that hardly any people checked up on him! Iâve always helped kids that look lost . Admittedly Iâve had some parents look really cross with me ( I think they thought I was trying to take them) , but at least I know I am a good person that just looks out for people. Iâd rather parents think that than not help and the child actually be taken by someone.
I remember the time I got lost in a shop and was crying out loud, then this British person he was friendly told me where was my parents, he picked me up and I found my family. I will never forget that kind of kindness
Iâm from South Africa and Iâve been in two situations where Iâve helped the lost child return to their parents. In both instances, I had initially approached the situation with caution and really consider if itâs okay for me to assist because I was terrified that people would think I was being inappropriate with the child.
I was eight years old and was at the worlds fair and gotten lost, I went to the place where you go if you're lost, so I told them my parents were lost, gave their names and over the loud speaker they asked them to come to the lost and found. They showed up. We were reunited.đ
I was once lost in grocery store and they had that thing but me being shy and told all the time not to talk to strangers i didnt go to them

I once got lost when I was 6 years old and then this young guy came up to me and asked me where my parents was. Thank god at that time I knew my moms number and he called her. I am so grateful for that act of kindness.

My boy just slipped away in a busy mall and got lost for 15 minutes while i lost it and the worst thoughts went through my head. I went to look at the cctv footage. He wasnt crying. He kept walking but i could see he was worried and looked around, sometimes standing still, looking. No one of the 1000 people around him even noticed him, let alone talked to him. He was finally "rescued" by somone who set out to find him (he saw me in distress, looked at his picture and ran off with the words "i'll find him"). He scooped him up and brought him back to me. I am so incredibly thankful.
I got lost on 7th avenue in NYC when I was 7 and these people helped me⊠there are always going to be nice people in this world
The third person who helped: I didnât see no âKARENâ or Mother around
3:40 I agree with the man actually...
The fact that some people didn't stop for help doesn't mean that they didn't want to and it doesn't make them unconsious! Maybe they just didn't actually realise that the kid was in trouble, most of them didn't even notice him. Besides, they were just passing by and the only thing they managed to see for some seconds was a kid just STANDING in the middle of the street, and he wasn't even CRYING
as a child, I used to get lost a lot so my parents used to always teach me if ur lost find a police officer or someone with children
