My dad was working in Atlanta, my mom with my dying aunt in a hospital in Florida, and I am getting a kidney transplant as soon as they could find me a donor. Anyway, I went to school for a Christmas secret Santa thing, hoping to get something for my family, and as it ended up, it was a hoax, no one was there. When I got home there was a tree full of gifts. all my friends and teachers had all put in money for gifts for me and my family. I got an iPod, the cookbook I had wanted for months, clothes, and several other things. I got to face chat my dad and mom on FaceTime, and I had a great time. After everyone left, I got a call from the hospital, I'm supposed to get a transplant from an anonymous donor tomorrow. Best Christmas ever.

I too led a blessed life and loved giving to those less fortunate. In recent years things took a hard turn for myself and family. I suffered a career ending injury, watched cancer take my father and my mother left to live a life without him. I only tell you about my misfortune so that you may see just how fortunate you truly are. I believe that good things happen to good people and i thank you for reminding me that not long ago i was 1 of them.
