You don’t see that many ES 345’s in that color. Beautiful guitar and a great player. I have a 1963 in sparkling burgundy. Had it since I was 19. Love it.

my brother has one with almost the same dating, maybe a little later 60s. His was the dark brown sunburst. I just remember that it was extremely heavy what with all of the stereo components. It sounded great but I always had to sit down to play it. Now I know why BB sat down a lot in his later years

That was fun. When the video first started, I thought, "he's playing through an SVT?", then when he did play with a lot of reverb, I knew that it wasn't. Beautiful guitar! And great, great playing!

Kirk Fletcher is one of the best musical talents of our time in my opinion. His approach to blues is fresh and highly engaging yet exceptionably listenable- I love the other virtuosos of our day as much as any blues geek, but my wife and kid even love listening to Kirk's music, which really says something to me. Gibson- make a Gibson USA release of this guitar... take my money!

I can't understand why Gibson doesn't include a Varitone on the current standard ES-345 model... It would definitely mark it out as much more than just a fancier looking 335.

First time the varitone made sense!
I never understood the bad press the varitone gets, especially from the Mark Inglesias (?sic) who used to work for Norm and now works for Gibson. My 67 345 has a fantastic varitone control which makes it the most expressive and versatile guitar I own.
I really hope Gibson releases the Kirk Fletcher ES-345 Signature Guitar! 😃 And that it's not $10K 😐

Pretty bad Norm made Kirk bring his own guitar. Lol Johnny guitar Watson actually passed away on stage of a heart attack while on tour. He was 44.
