Ha! Amazing story! I had one of Patti's crabs when she brought a bucket of them into the theater of the show After Midnight on Broadway. She was the resident featured performer after Fantasia, KD Lang, Vanessa Williams aand Toni Braxton had done there residencies and I was playing drums in the band. Most of the production's actors and dancers got to them first so there were only a few left by the time band got to them but I respectfully only took one. (Of course I wanted more, though.) It was DELICIOUS! Growing up in Virginia and having relatives in the Chesapeake Bay area I know something about good crabs and Patti's were on point! She was really nice to everyone.
