- Anna and I filmed my whole day on Wednesday this week! It starts, as it often does, when Artist Michelle Kral does her (almost) daily livestream here on CZcams at 7.30am BST . She is so talented and it is a great way to start the day!

Why not join us and say Hi to Mitsi!
I finally finish the curtains that I started about 3 years ago! I'm so pleased with them and I love the way the morning light shines through them looking like a summer sky!
Anna and I are planning and chatting in the Shipping Room where the web shop lives. Arne and Carlos called it a Warehouse! But it is really just my transformed Spare Room!

I'm really grateful to my daughter in law Anna who not only filmed some of this video, but did all the editing and music selections. I think she did a great job! xxx
Thank you so much for watching!
I'll see you next week!

Does anyone else on the LGS just love how that piece of hair on Kate’s head just sticks up like a salute and adds such charm to this video?
Seeing the light going through the curtains let my heart skip a beat. I'm sitting here with my breakfast, watching the joy and pride on your face and I'm shedding a tear. Seeing a wonderful woman living a handmade life leaves me hopeful for my future. Thank you for sharing, Kate!
And you know, if you meet up with Arne&Carlos one day and post a video of it you will surely make the servers at CZcams crash! The idea of the three of you meeting makes me giddy😍
When the sheep came out all I could say was "Ooooooo Kate" . It was awesome, thank you for the special timing of that one. Your Sunday follow me was the best.
I remember high school home economic class and learning more about sewing than my mother taught me. These hems you make are called flat fell seams or felled seams used on jeans. Makes a seam with no raw edges on either side. 🦌💌❤️🙏👏☕️🇨🇦🪡🧵
I think I smiled all the way through this video...your home is beautiful, the curtains are beautiful and I just love your way of life and the lovely peace and joy you impart. Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. 💜
Hello, Kate! This is the first time I grasp the opportunity of addressing you. You really inspire me! I find it so cosy to hear someone so delicate and yet so strong, showing such lovely work you do. These curtains were lovely, and so were many other things you made and said. It's wonderful to have projects and wishes, no matter how old you are, isn't it? What I most appreciate in your videos is your capacity of making ordinary things one does every day make sense in life because you do them with simplicity, humour and most of all love. Thank you for sharing your solitude with us. God bless you.
What a surprise when you stopped the car for the sheep, made me clap my hands and laugh, and so many!!❤. Curtains came out beautifully.
loved seeing the sheep herding down the road ! Beautiful countryside.
These curtains are beautiful! You are so creative! I love watching, or just listening, to you. You bring such calmness and comfort to me. I lost my daughter Jan. 31, 2021, 2 weeks before her 29th birthday and my heart has been so sad and full of grief. You bring me comfort and now I have to do some EPP! 😂 A sense of humor keeps me going! Thank you!
Kate
I enjoyed this video so much. I'm making a small craft, quite elementary, but like to see a day in the life of Kate as I stitch. Thank you for sharing your world with us
So glad someone proved the light does go out in the fridge when you shut the door!
Good morning, Kate. I know this is a year ago. But I found u now.. I've been watching u for a few months in my sewing room. My name is Mona. I'm 59 years old. My hubby and I are retired, and we love getting up at 3:30 am . I've been putting u on my tv with my morning coffee. I really enjoy your channel. I really love your home. Mine is not quite as homely as yours, I would love for it to be!!!!
Kate I’m sure I am not the first to say that the tiny clips made for quilters are just perfect for the job you were doing today, your gorgeous curtains! The clips even come in your colors, pink and green!!! Podjaki looks wonderful against glads with sun coming through.
I was just going to write that the curtains look like a stained glass window and you said it. They’re beautiful. Congratulations Kate. Magnificent.
Had a giggle when you left us in the fridge 😆.
The curtains are lovely, especially with the gentle breeze playing with them. Thank you, Kate, for sharing your life with us. And thank you, Anna, for the idyllic music.
I used to knit constantly, but stopped after my mom died a few years ago. Not deliberately, I just ran out of knitting fuel. Last year I started feeling creative again and started quilting, which is how I got to your channel. Looking at that dear little fair isle sweater may have just sparked an urge to knit again as well.
The curtains were worth the wait. They are lovely.
