    The way this question is worded seems to imply that the rate of change of angle is constant and dh/dt is 200m/min but only at the instant that theta is pi/4. That can't be right?!?!?

    for H/500 you don't need to quotient rule it? It's just 1/500 for some reason?

      1/500 is just a constant. So you don't need quotient rule. This probably doesn't help now since you posted two weeks ago.

    Why is this pi/4 instead of pi/3 or pi/6?? Its not obvious to me b/c it could have been drawn any way Sal chose.

    500 x 2 x 0.2 - I would have gone for 1000 x 0.2 instead of 500 x 0.4, just curious about the choice.
