Now I know I’m not the only one. 12 stitches for mine. Not long but deep. Did you lose motion in your thumb? My cut started in the same area as yours but curled up towards the metacarpal trapezium where it cut the medium nerve, sliced into the abductor muscle, and severed part of the opponents muscle. I lost sensation and some rotational motion in the thumb. Lost a bit of strength in there too. The worst is in the winter; the thumb gets cold pretty quick since I also cut a vein so little circulation in there. But I guess you don’t have to worry about that in Texas.
