This run was done using MFOR v. 2024.02.10
Seed settings: Difficulty 5, full item randomization, missile upgrades allow missiles, power bombs usable without bombs, damage runs on, split security levels, sector and sector connector shuffle, beam and suit palette shuffle - Hry
A couple of things to note, on which I'd appreciate some feedback if y'all don't mind:
-I've been thinking of having the video title be something other than the seed name, and removing the settings from the description (though, as I generate in groups, the settings for each group are the same, so maybe updating if they change for the start of each one)
-I've also thought of testing commentary on a future seed, which might be especially useful for those without deep knowledge of the game
-Part, but not all, of my movement issues stem from my using an XBone controller (I use an emulator as my GBA SP needs refurbished or replaced, and my Gamecube is in storage several states away). I prefer the feel of its D-pad over that of, say, an SNES controller, but it's still not perfect. If anyone has a recommendation for a better controller, let me know.

Personally, I have been enjoying the gameplay a lot, being a casual player of the game for years, I think that changing the title to something different then the seed name might be a good idea, since people not accustomed to the rando will just see a seemingly nonsensical title, so it should bring more audience if the title reflected some aspects of the seed, such as an unusual trick being used, or a good item being found early and how it changes the seed wide open, these are just ideias tho, you do you, and its pretty nice to watch as it is, although a commentary over a seed might be interesting as well, sorry for my bad english and good luck!

I would definately love some commentary. Ive watched at least 3 of these all the way through, and I've played this game 100x times and you've shown me more about this game in that time than I fid in 20+ years
@TheTerminator2298 I'm flattered; thank you! I played this game a lot myself when I was younger, but I've learned a ton from watching speedruns and others play the randomizer. I'm far from the best, but each seed helps me improve.
I have an upload planned for today with commentary, and depending on its reception, I may start doing so for future seeds, too.
I love how at the end you just got a darker toned Fusion Suit.

Hey man! Passing by, as I just started MFOR runs myself and wanted to watch videos to improve on one of my favorite childhood games.
Unfortunately I have no constructive feedback, but I just wanted to let you know that despite putting "bad movement" in the description, I think your movements are really clean!
Your knowledge of the sectors/maps and the game in general are excellent (and it shows through the various Shineparks in the perfect spots, knowing exactly where items are, knowing what your strenghts and weaknesses are with what you acquired via upgrades, etc) and you even try (and sometimes succeed) to incorporate advanced techniques such as wall jumping on ledges, trying to double-missile the Core-X-es and red eyes...
Congrats and well done overall. My gameplay is way, *way* behind yours (also playing on a XBox controller) and I'll need decades to catch up lol, but I enjoyed the gameplay & video really much!
Thank you! When I say things like "bad movement" or "poor choices," it's usually a joke and refers to only a few spots at most. I wish you luck in your runs, and I'm glad you enjoyed mine!

@@AndrewChumKaser It'd also be a legal issue for me if I was to distribute the Fusion roms myself, so all I do is link to the randomizer program.
You have good aim for killing the secruity bot
How are you wall jumping from the same wall? Instill cant figure that out
If you have screw attack without space jump, you can single wall wall jump. This is actually vanilla behavior (can be done in the debug menu), but since in the vanilla game you never have screw without space jump, it's not normally possible to do

How to set timer and items in the right?
I use LiveSplit for my timer and Emotracker for the items
the basic suit was drip, the varia suit RN is drown, step up your game man

@@jollykirby2138 It is an option in the seed generator UI in the latest version of the randomizer. Any or all of suits, beams, enemy sprites, and room tilesets can be randomized
