I just want to say I really appreciate you doing this whole CZcams thing I know your a dad first than a business owner I know making the videos adds so much more work load on top of what you’re already doing but just want to say I appreciate the videos I enjoy watching💪🏻👍🏻
Responsibilities vs having fun @ the Danger Ranger, this man has his s#!t together and it's the reason for the success of the company and his stellar reputation! Keep doing you K. Smith, it's working.
We've used the AFCO's on several projects and we like them too. What I really like is the way they will hold adjustments...not every shock does. Like that spring compressor too!
About the rainy Florida, which I here in Central Florida am appreciative of, my Dear Ole Dad used to say, "It's perfect weather for ducks and soilders."
Kevin, I truly love to see your commitment to achieving perfection. It I a rare commodity in this world today! If only you could actually work as fast as you do on time-lapse. Imagine how much you could achieve. As Always, May God Bless you and yours!
I love these videos. You literally can't skip ahead or you'll be completely lost if you don't know what is already going on. Kevin takes his time to explain what and why
Thank you Kevin for sharing all your suspension knowledge with us. I just installed a QA1 stage 4 suspension package in my 72' El Camino and I look forward to your suspension videos to learn how to become adept at reading my suspension. Knowing the physics of weight transfer and actually making it work is the true art form, and, your're my favorite artist..
Great information on the end links Kevin, I knew about keeping a bend in the link, but I didn’t know it was ideal to be close to 90°. Now I have to go out to my car and check it haha.
Could definitely see feather on the inner driver's tire and after seeing that driver's spring how it was bound to the right (as if a coil got bent out of spec) - so yeah those were smoked. This should add to the changes in the rear for sure.
So, from what I gleaned out of the ending, Kevin won’t be able to race in the DangerRanger 3000.. ..but he didn’t SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE DANGER RANGER 9000!! He’s good to go!
You do a great job with CZcams, running the shop and being a dad, I hope the success from CZcams pays enough so you can get some filming or editing help to make your life easier ( you do a great job!) I wonder if Duane from wrench every day could help save you time on editing, he does a good job too
I'm glad I'm Subscribed to your channel. I've learned a lot listening and paying attention to your words of wisdom. It's been a huge help with my project. Thank you for everything you do and the knowledge that comes with it.
It's good to see you work I all way learn something when I see your videos plus you explain things in a way that I allway understand them thanks for taking the time to do that.
That's why it's good sometimes to pull apart fresh builds because a lot of times you can find damage that didn't display any symptoms. Par for the course on cars you drag race and drive across country. 👍
That was an opening , nice work on the shocks and body weight /energy transfer mechanism, i hope that the new upgrade works better at putting the tires on the ground .the thing that i like is that Kevin is making us think with him simultaneously about the car behavior , although i can't hide my worries about it 🤔 , keep up the good work KSR and KEV . 😊
Just ordered my shirt! I really enjoy your videos Kevin! I’m gonna wear that shirt proud, you’re an awesome guy Kevin! Keep up the good work my friend!
I wish I could have some of your rain, as I live in the Mojave desert... Look at my picture .I took that a few years back, before they legalized pot, and there was more water then. This weekend is cool as it's only in the upper 90s,as opposed to last 2-3 weeks it was highs 105 and low 80.. I digress. It's nice to see you putting your customers 1st.(it's a rarity nowadays) God bless you and your loved ones Godspeed
I lived in Florida for 5 year ... i thought it rained allot some days till i moved to Seattle omg during the winter ur more fish then human ... rain for 4 months one time
When Kevin was explaining front shock travel coming out of a wheelie, first thing I thought of was James smashing the front of his 240
Didn't we all, lol
I also think about a white MR2 which did a 4 wheels wheelie.
They need to install some off road style hyrolic bump stops.
@@guy_autordie with the new fuel tech system they are running its doing hell of a job of preventing it from wheeling 👍🏽
@@trialsmart yes we did! 😂
I just want to say I really appreciate you doing this whole CZcams thing I know your a dad first than a business owner I know making the videos adds so much more work load on top of what you’re already doing but just want to say I appreciate the videos I enjoy watching💪🏻👍🏻
"He was a happy giraffe🦒" 🤣🤣
Someone needs to make a channel just filming cleetus and narrating it like a nature documentary about girrafes 🤣🤣
“He was a happy giraffe.”
-Kev
Roflmao! Man that killed me with it being so nonchalant. Ahahahhaha
Good morning Kevin, glad to see your 8am schedule is still alive and well. No channel like KSR.!!!!
I love getting up and having a KSR video to watch with my breakfast before I get to working.
Had no idea there was so much of a science to the suspension alone. But your explanations make perfect sense.
Nice to hear the suspension explanation, from a pro. Rock on Kevin, time lapse music was great as well.
"Somedays I think we'd be better suited if we were a duck " I had an unexpected laugh at that, thank you!
Loved it. Keep the dad-isms coming!
Agreed wasn't expecting him to say that, but was a good chuckle for me lol. Gotta love the weather sometime playing those rainy day games lol.
I died ALSO!
I think we all got a laugh out of that😂
I wasn’t ready 🤣🤣🤣
That’s the extension the mullet needed. Hell yeah
Responsibilities vs having fun @ the Danger Ranger, this man has his s#!t together and it's the reason for the success of the company and his stellar reputation! Keep doing you K. Smith, it's working.
I love the way he explains things, what he is doing and why exactly.
I love the way this men works,, perfection at its best,, who wouldn’t want kevin working on your car huh ,, straight genius and perfectionist
Kevin: "He was a happy giraffe."
Jesus man, trying to not die over here while I'm eating my breakfast
morning Kev can't wait for the track, tap that button folks give this man some support
Better yet, watch this video multiple times! Watched hours = $$$!
cant get much better explination of why he sets up the way he does. Super helpful for the newbie racer
Man those fabric Afco Shock spring sleeves are gorgeous! And the whole assembly under Mullet is as well. The whole build is freaking incredible!
We've used the AFCO's on several projects and we like them too. What I really like is the way they will hold adjustments...not every shock does. Like that spring compressor too!
Yep! Their consistency shock to shock and adjustment to adjustment is one of the best in the industry!!
Happy to hear you've had success with our products!
Good job Kevin mullet is an absolute beauty and a piece of art
Anonther quality video,, thanks for your time, man.
Can't wait to see Mullet the Giraffe and you do another drag week!!
That spring installer tool is sweet.
Suspension, the all forgotten piece of the puzzle in drag racing. Very Important.
Thanks for bringing us along on this Kevin.
So important!
Said it before and I'll say it again. Kevin is the MAN when it comes to cars. Learned so much just watching these videos! Keep it up Kev!
You should be hitting the bump stops before those springs go into coil bind. Springs always settle in over time, that part is normal.
Kevin, your killing it brother!! With all of the work you have to get done, thank you for still kicking out videos!
Garrett mentioned big tires. And now it's a mad scramble to keep him on radials!!!!
I have learned more about drag car suspension from Kevin than anywhere else.
About the rainy Florida, which I here in Central Florida am appreciative of, my Dear Ole Dad used to say, "It's perfect weather for ducks and soilders."
When your builder chucks a tube up in the lathe to simply emery cloth the end before welding it you know the attention to detail is second to none!
I visited the Sunshine State a couple of years ago, it rained everyday. Still enjoyed it though!
I have no idea on some of his explanation but I really enjoy listening to it
Favorite car in Cleets fleet!! Thanks for the love you put into this car!
I love how you take the time to explain how things work!
My favorite parts of your videos!
Thank you Kevin. Amazing how 5/8” makes such a big difference.
It's all virgin territory once you get past the used spot
The duck joke going RIGHT into the intro was epic. Great work there! :)
Thanks Kevin!
Mullet is going 6's once your done ... keep it going bro. love ya bud
Brilliant content as always Kevin! Like the way you always take the time to explain the technical bits.

I’m thankful for rain whenever it comes this year, farmers are in much need of it for crops
Kevin you should be the weatherman for the Dallas area. You two have a lot in common you both hit right on with the weather calling. Lol
Could definitely see feather on the inner driver's tire and after seeing that driver's spring how it was bound to the right (as if a coil got bent out of spec) - so yeah those were smoked. This should add to the changes in the rear for sure.
Thats gonna work way better now
Hell yea hope to see some of yall at both races
"He was a happy giraffe 🦒 " hahaha I laughed way ro hard at this.
I can't believe those springs could not handle a pot hole. One wheelie would have taken them out. Glad you guys discovered they were defective early.
“He was a happy giraffe” fukn 😂
Never knew that about springs. Learn something new every day. Thanks Kevin.
A shocking episode of “Le Mullet”…….Kevin’s in the House……👍👍👍🦅🦅🦅🏁🏁🏁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎😎😎
l am keeping an eye on your progress as you build data and knowledge. Queensland. Australia.
Thank you Kevin....take care of your back!
Kevin, thanks for the update. I appreciate all you do on Mullet, Soccer Mom and all the rest.
Nice thumbnail pic!
.
So, from what I gleaned out of the ending, Kevin won’t be able to race in the DangerRanger 3000..
..but he didn’t SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE DANGER RANGER 9000!! He’s good to go!
Lol, I heard that while I was editing
Same here in Texas, quack quack
Glad to see the shop grow

Great way to start the day, with Kevin and MULLET.
#WINWITHKSR
happy Easter to all of KSR keep up the great work you do
Love the technical content.
Awesome another KSR video
These are my favorite videos
So many builders focus ONLY on engine tune on the dyno and miss the crucial understanding of ‘chassis tune’ .. good job brother. 💪🏻😎
hehehe I have two of those little Milwaukee pocket tape measures though I cut the keychains off them and almost always have one in my pocket.
Glad to hear you’ll be at LS Fest. Hopefully get to meet you. Enjoying the videos. Keep up the great work.
I appreciate that you torqued down the spring compressor with your bare hands . That and your deep knowledge of many things .
I'm glad I'm Subscribed to your channel. I've learned a lot listening and paying attention to your words of wisdom. It's been a huge help with my project. Thank you for everything you do and the knowledge that comes with it.

Awesome dude, just awesome. Thanks for passing on your knowledge.

Damn the springs for the Afco shocks were the size of the old shocks!
Big ups LDUNM
love the vids Kevin, I learn something almost every time!
This is one of the best channels out there! You’re doing really high quality work and explaining why and how you’re doing it. Keep up the great work!!
Thanks for the tech info. As always , greatly appreciated.
Win with KSR. I love the channel.
