He's a nice guy and not arrogant (that's how he's potrayed idk, i never met him). Imagine calling a person with bad grades in front of the whole school to be mocked by the whole school.

I think the whole meaning of the meme is that yes, he underperforms greatly and the meme is sarcastic, BUT. I do think people still like him as a person, if he were to be some arrogant knob the chants and memes would not be so friendly. I mean look at Mazepin.

I’m so happy Nicholas got points. Tbh I think Nicholas showed that he deserved his chance to be in F1 during 2020 and 2021. This year he didn’t gel to the car like Albon and De Vries did. I genuinely think that if he had gelled to the car, he would’ve had another 3 years at least. Maybe he’s not a flash driver but he still deserved an opportunity. Many people didn’t see that because other drivers missed out on earlier opportunities like De Vries after winning the F2 title ahead of Latifi in 2019.

Isn't it obvious? The Goatifi nickname was originally a sarcastic joke, with people using it to make fun of his career/perceived lack of ability in F1. When people say Goatifi, they're really making fun of him for being bad.
Feel sorry for him really, as the constant social media jibes from keyboard warriors must be pretty tough.
