Sean's greatest talent was generating a completely nonsensical hilarious story, and telling it with a completely straight face. Not many others can come close to the way he did it
He makes me think of Norm Macdonald in that regard. Gosh I wish these two legends were still with us.

The word legend is used way too often these days. But when it's used in the same sentence to describe Sean Lock it's an understatement. I've never missed a person in the public eye as much as I have done with Sean. Keep the VTs coming. Never a sad day when I see a new Sean Lock video pop up in CZcams. RIP legend.

I learned about Sean Lock 25 minutes ago, and I have watched this clip 2x and his last joke like 7 times. I am in tears!
I often come back to Sean Lock clips when I’ve had a bad day. Every single time, without fail, regardless of how many times I’ve seen it, it cheers me up. Probably the most naturally funny comedian that ever lived, sometimes he didn’t even have to tell an joke, just speaking and his words and delivery has me in stitches. We really did lose an icon.

No comedian dead or alive has ever brought me such joy. He had such a strange mix of surreal yet “blokey” jokes; to me, absolute perfection.
Apart from his disgruntal uncle routine, you never know where he would end up. Most original comic of his age. Love it
I think it was Jimmy or one of the other major comedians who said, Sean was a comedians comedian. It's really hard to make a professional comedian laugh. They'll laugh along with a joke out of politeness, or give a little chuckle. But Sean was one of the few who could even make the hardened old comedians break down laughing. That's a sign of true comedic talent.

If anyone else would tell the stories Sean is telling, none of them would even remotely be funny. But when Sean tells it, it becomes the funniest thing in the world. There really is something about him. Sad he is gone, but happy that we would always have his stories and wise cracks with us.

Every time Sean was asked a question by Jimmy I’d start laughing because you just knew he’d come up with something hilarious, easily one of the funniest blokes to ever live and we all miss having him here to make us laugh.

I'm a yank and had really given up on our tv ...pure shite !!! About 5 years back I caught an episode of WILTY and from that I watched every WILTY and anything that anyone who appeared on that show was involved in ...THANKS MATES !!! I found so many great shows and new comedians I had never heard of . Growing up loving The pythons and The goodies has come full circle

How Sean spins a bunch of non-sequiturs into the richest tapestry of wordplay and situational comedy one can ever imagine is a marvel to watch. It's like watching Beethoven at work. A CZcams video with Sean's face as the thumbnail makes my day. What a man! He and Norm MacDonald are the two people whose very day-to-day life existence was the biggest tribute to the pantheon of comedy ever. My dreary pandemic days were made joyful by their very presence. Pandemic days were when I discovered them. I then learnt to revel in the glories of everyday mundane life, however despondent it might seem. Life's absurdities are best when narrated in a Sean Lock or a Norm MacDonald voice. Thank you Sean, for providing the voiceover for a drab existence that is a twenty-first-century world.

His stand up work was funny, but his panel show work was brilliant. That was truly his format.
Lets keep this going via commenting and liking etc. Sean was a wonderful bloke - his humour should be preserved and spread far and wide. Loved him since "15 Storeys High", a brilliant sitcom co-written by and starring Sean. The finale here with poor Claudia, who is utterly helpless with laughter, is a total joy.
