Sean was a master of several different comedy styles and modes. He could be surreal and playful or he could be blunt and blokey. He could be light or dark. And just occasionally he was politically righteous. And you never knew which way he was going to go at any moment. But, whichever direction he went, he remained hilarious and original. One of the all-time greats.

I was devastated to learn this today - what an absolute comedy legend. I can't think of a single time I've seen him on a show and he hasn't been hilarious. He seems like the kind of bloke who would be happy to know that we are still laughing at his comedy!

We've been complaining that they haven't posted new clips.... what I feel like has been years. But now, we are going to cherish everyone of these clips that we've already seen 20x and will watch 1000 more. Sean Lock's comedy was a style onto itself. As Aussies who have only recently discovered 8 out of 10 cats in the last month or so,
we are absolutely gutted hearing about Sean's passing.
So funny and witty, we feel his loss in a way that seems out of proportion, given we have
never met the man.
Although, on ready other people's comments, we are not alone.

It's been two days since Sean died. He has been in the forefront of my mind for two solid days. His impression on me is undeniable. Blisteringly funny. My thoughts are genuinely with his family and close friends.
I’ve grown up with Sean Lock and his humour. He was a staple in British comedy and to know that he’s no longer here feels too surreal. Shows like this are going to feel like something’s missing from now on, as he was one of a kind. You’ll be greatly missed, Sean, thank you for all the laughs! ❤️💔😢
