  • The great thing about ELRS is that you can't brick them. While you can make them unresponsive, you do have the opportunity to bring them back to live - that's where this flash tool can come in handy. O course, you can flash things without breaking them first, but we should try all the options!

Obviously you need pin holes in your RX PCB for this kit to work. So well done RM once again providing a half baked solution....Im not sure why they fail to see the blindingly obvious Wayne...?...😳😳🤔🇬🇧 Saving money by not drilling the PCBs

Pull power from the receiver when the configurator says wait for the LED to continue blinking, thats when its actually writing to the chip.

Ah - ok, so it copies to some memory during the "flashing" from the configurators point of view and then does the actual copy into flash ram afterwards. Thanks - noted for future

This is why Im sticking to Crossfire...The TX Module uploads matching Firmware to its recievers OTA. Dont have any of this nonesense and you can upgrade RXs installed in models easily...No PC involved...😳😳😏

My Crossfire Module managed to screw itself with an update one time... although to be fair, that was because I had to use a Windows VM to update it, and it has a Mac version now. It was recoverable though.

@@CurryKitten I'm not sure why ELRS doesn't do OTA firmware updates. After all they've copied the protocol from Crossfire....🤔😳
