How long we need to keep like this after adding caustic soda, even I tried but front side caustic soda stucked 😥, deposited as solid, I have cleaned with Hose pipe, but this is wonderful idea brother cleaned all carbon, oil and rust also

This procedure with hot water will lead to silencer rusting. If the silence material is SS then its ok. Any one can try the same with a chrome plated metal before trying this.

Bro can i use this method in hero glamour 125 cc bike silencer. Because engine oil leakage in exhaust. To remove oil and carbon deposits can i use this method.
Kiran Kishore yes u can, but plse find your silencer chamber is’nt welded in aluminium plates in hole, bcoz the caustic soda reaction will affect the Alumnium plates will gradually. So find the in hole ports.. is it okey then do it.
