- From sand to safety glass, Bart explores what makes the glass in your car so special. We superheat some sand to make homemade glass, and we break a bunch of car windows in the name of science! We smash safety glass with a hammer, and shatter a tempered car window with a tiny piece of ceramic spark plug. A teeny tiny piece of ceramic! It’s fun and informative- it’s Science Garage!

The list of things that differ Pumphrey is just too big to fit in a 5 minute videos, so that would have to become a series. Although I suppose most of them are somehow related to Jessica and James' dad
What is Carbon Fiber really? How is it made? What makes it so strong, light, and expensive? Why is it that it's a cloth hardened in resin? Doesn't that mean the resin is really the strong component of carbon fiber parts? I really like this series. Teach us more!

They could not make perfectly flat glass back then. So they just put the thicker side downwards for strength.
