- In this video I talk about Ulanzi Camera Cooling Fan for Sony/Canon/FUJIFILM/Nikon Old model.
Be aware that Ulanzi at this point has produced an upgraded model they call "C072GBB2 | Upgraded" with a different attachment mechanism.
Should I give it a try and see how they fixed the issue?
I planned to use this contraption on my Canon EOS R8 camera.
I did not have a chance to test it on any other cameras they have on their compatibility list.

@5:25 "that is the problem" :)
What can I say 🙃
They just released a new version that supposedly makes it stay on the back of the camera. I'm returning my set
Yes, that is what I'm mentioning in the text / description to this video.
Yes, just got mine and it works SOOO much better and sits flush right on the cameras body when the screen flips out. I had the suction cup one first and it would fall off after about 20-40 mins max. This one's not going anywhere, especially if it's on a tripod
Maybe I should order the updated version and try it too.
@@maxsam201 You will not be disappointed my friend. I had the original one with the suction cups as well. This version is 20 times better of a design 👏🏻Good on Ulanzi listening to the people and thinking this one through. I would absolutely buy it now before the price goes up and do a review, I think you will realize this is everything the first version had potential to be, but actually done right
@@JesusChristSaves. Cool deal, I shall try it then!
Great, so those of us who bought the original versions get absolutely nothing for those and now we have to spend the same amount of money AGAIN to get a product that was supposed to work properly the first time. Ulanzi knew they messed up the original version, and that's why they were so quick to release an updated version. I will not be giving them any more money. They need to allow us to trade in the old versions for the new versions at no charge.
I tend to agree with you. It doesn't look like they did a proper testing on this original version prior to making the production run. And it looks like they made many of them - they are still available at a reduced price.
