That's a great idea! As for the lineman patch, they're so rare anymore and most people don't need them. If they do, we still offer the Lineman boot on the website!

I see Nick's didn't respond, but their website shows options for width and they say the boots fit comparably to the Brannock Device sizing. Nick's offers a return policy if you don't wear the boots. So, you can return if you realize the size you ordered won't work. They also offer to send out try on boots to check the sizing, for a fee.

It would be great to have photos of the differences or a youtube video showing them. I'm from Brazil and am really looking to purchase a Builder Pro, I just have a few questions with some customization options.
I'm trying to understand what sprung toe means. Does that mean taller or boxier? Or, more rounded? Is it an option on all of the lasts or just the shape of the 1167?
6 inch boots fit weird. They're low enough that they seem to interact with my ankle bone in a way that taller (usually 8 inch) boot or similarly short "high top" sneaker (which is softer than boot leather) won't.

I'm considering a pair of Falcons for Robert's but don't really know what this difference options look or would feel like. Thanks
I’ve got a titanium hip and weight on my feet is a concern especially if I’m on concrete all day and have another 15 lbs of tools on me… I wear Irish setters and I’ve been served well I’ve had red wings and I’m not impressed at all… very difficult break in… Irish setters felt like putting on a glove immediately out of box… my issue is I always have the inside by heel wear out and rip open and also because of my hip my gait is more heel prone and I wear outside of heel and then seems like walking further on outside of boot … and it happens rather quickly too
Two design questions: Why do you put a flap of "spikey" leather at the bottom of the lacing area? Why is the heel curved in so dramatically on some boots while others have a normal block heel? It gives the boots a more feminine look so I assume there is a functional reason you do this to mens work boots?
You mentioned about some features that will play into the comfort of the boot. Is there a video on that topic or can you reply on what are those. Thanks

Hey, glad you are interested in our Boots! We don't currently offer a payment plan, but you can look through our Ready to Ship, and Factory Seconds sections on our side which offer boots at a discount if you find your size! Hope this helps
Sadly, if you're an electrician and need electric hazard protection, there's nothing for you here. A Nick's rep told me that they don't make boots with that specification.

I'm guessing yalls wedge sole probably last a long time. I need to try em out
NICKS ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve got a titanium hip and weight on my feet is a concern especially if I’m on concrete all day and have another 15 lbs of tools on me… I wear Irish setters and I’ve been served well I’ve had red wings and I’m not impressed at all… very difficult break in… Irish setters felt like putting on a glove immediately out of box… my issue is I always have the inside by heel wear out and rip open and also because of my hip my gait is more heel prone and I wear outside of heel and then seems like walking further on outside of boot … and it happens rather quickly too
Does nicks offer metatarsal guards? Great video. Thanks
Two design questions: Why do you put a flap of "spikey" leather at the bottom of the lacing area? Why is the heel curved in so dramatically on some boots while others have a normal block heel? It gives the boots a more feminine look so I assume there is a functional reason you do this to mens work boots?
I want a pair so bad. I may get the heritage since I am an office jock.
They make a badass work boots 👢 ! And they are made in the U.S.A. .
You mentioned about some features that will play into the comfort of the boot. Is there a video on that topic or can you reply on what are those. Thanks
A an aggressive flat sole would be the way I would go if it existed.
Man I wish you guys were in the UK? I really want a pair of Nicks so bad but just the shipping alone would cost a stupid amount.
You forgot to mention that Composite toes are prefered for electricians... as they aren't as conductive as steel.
NFPA isn't required for me, so how well does your standard vibram sole hold up to heat?
no dislikes on any of your videos winning
What is Top Style? Rolled, Cut, standard?
What options would you recommend getting for standing on concrete most of the day 5 days a week?
I am a new Wildland volunteer firefighter and in need of some good boots and from what I understand you guys are the best. My problem is with me being new to the department and all of us being volunteers we have to buy our own supplies and our own gear and your boots are just way out of my price range. So my question is do you guys have a payment plan or a cheaper option?
Hey, glad you are interested in our Boots! We don't currently offer a payment plan, but you can look through our Ready to Ship, and Factory Seconds sections on our side which offer boots at a discount if you find your size! Hope this helps
Sadly, if you're an electrician and need electric hazard protection, there's nothing for you here. A Nick's rep told me that they don't make boots with that specification.
I can’t wait for mine, I know it’s only been a few weeks since I ordered mine but it feels like months lol.
I feel ya. I went in last week Friday to get fit and a set ordered. It’s been one week and I’m dying to get them
Haha totally understand.
What’s the best pair for a hard landscaper or concrete worker?
One of the wedge models, for concrete, I'd imagine.
Damn ! Those are bad ass !
One day ill be able to afford some badass wildland boots. Is there a ‘quick’ lace option? We dont have dedicated wildland teams but deal with wildland fires often enough that i have to throw the lace ups on pretty fast.
I maintain a prison. So mostly inside but I do a bit of yard work. I use my work boots as my every day boots and do a lot of hiking and heavy out door activities. I need boots that can look nice if I need to walk the superintendents or a deputy around the facility but also survive my day to day. What nicks boot would you recommend
Hello! I think you missed "pull loop", "heel stack", and "heel profile", could you explain them somewhere else? I am looking to purchase another pair!
Would you recommend getting a higher heel for extra comfort on a flat foot?
Hey Grant when will ya'll offer a boot with insulation? What should I wear in winter? Thanks
You wear your nicks in the winter lmao
@@Awesome123000 ?
Try some insulated Danners.
If your feet sweat, cloth side boots. Lets the moisture out so your feet don't get cold.
@@Awesome123000 You don't?
Great video team, any new models coming soon?
There sure are! Stay tuned!
Would the lineman's shank not help with those with severe flat feet?
