Of all the crab I ate in our coast kelp crab is the best tasting crab I ever have... even the crab butter in it is sweet like kelp... hope to see you one day to get some or one... after I have it I try to research area and place to get them...
Congrats man awesome way to open up the season!!!!! I personally live in SoCal but heard the reports from NorCal and conditions seemed insane. Been struggling for perch seems like I lost my touch. Hopefully we’ll get back on them soon

@@DieHardFishing Yeah thanks. Just saw this but i went out yesterday and i managed a few decent ones, 7-10 inch range.Nothing crazy and tide was pretty low so not the best conditions, but ill take what i can get. Still great day out. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Yeah, my experience with crabbing is usually keeping all of my pots close to each other draws more crab due to all the scent coming from the same direction due to the current. Each to their own. Good luck!

Great video as usual Adam! Speaking of confidence in your gear I’m looking for a new baitcaster reel to use for inshore lingcod/rockfish but also for east bay shore fishing (halibut/striper) and maybe even large-mouth bass at some lakes. Suggestion? What are you using in this video?

Love the videos! Are you ever concerned when fish are slapping on the surface? I always think of it since you’re in a kayak. I’m inland and have a fear for sharks that has never been personally substantiated

At 11:30 that second ling had little flea looking bugs on it, is that normal? The only ling I ever caught had those and I thought maybe it meant there was parasites.
Dude, I need your secrets on beach fishing... I got all the tackle but up where I live(Sonoma county) is tough for surf fishing... I use a BG 3500 and a 9'6 Daiwa North Coast and need to bust it's cherry!!! Lol Send help y'all!?!?

They kind of sleep when you place them this way. If he put them in belly down they'd all claw each other and fight
