After going through abusive relationships for the majority of my life, I met a man that finally showed me exactly how someone deserves to be loved. Such a shame, my friend was the same way, his mental health just kept deteriorating every single day and it hurt to see. He’d sometimes end up crying abruptly, even when he was laughing everytime me and my friends played a game. He even tells me he wakes up crying sometimes because of nightmares involving his family. His family was always nice to me when I was with him but he said they were casual racist and sometimes even talk about my heritage. He’d always smile with them and provide with them, but you could tell he was jumpy. Even from the slightest loud noise from his family. He told me he might disappear one day so that he wouldn’t have to deal with them, I didn’t know what that meant at the time but months later I found out later he was gone, family didn’t invite me. And they had the nerve to blame it on whatever else he had going on in his life, they aren’t even considering it’s their fault. I still can’t believe it to this day. If anyone’s reading this, it’s okay to reach out.

And I walked today in a special forest were we used to walk together. Cherish the beautiful and warm memories and taken time for yourself to do this. I lost my dad 11th Feb 2022.I was in school far away from home,I would just cry all over the phone call when I call my mother to ask how he was responding to treatment.i had a friend in campus who didn't fail to visit me that week and everytime when he step in he would start singing a song that my father loved to sing..and maybe it was my dad telling me goodbye through him.what pained me was almost everybody in my family went to say goodbye in the hospital while I was just crying and making calls upto 12am.. everybody knew that I loved my dad so much .I would sit him when he was drunk and force him to eat to ensure he don't sleep hungry.i can't lie..upto date I still cry even infront of many people..last week I cried in the lecture room infront of my lecturer and coursemates.

The last time she came home, she called me in the living room, and I was in the room, and I didn't go out, and thought she was annoying, so she waited for a while, and then went out by herself. Another time my boyfriend came to see me and I invited her out for dinner, but she asked if I could treat her this time because she had no money, and I said no, just to save money. Just because of saving a little food money and my own laziness, I lost the time I could get along with her again and again, and I lost every meal I could eat with her until she passed away. My mother’s good friend said, in fact It's not too much to treat your mother a meal. She's my mom, she done so much for me, how can I reject treating a meal for my own mom, Now no matter how much money I want to spend, there is no chance to eat with my mother again, god gave me a lot of chances, but I keep wasting it💔💔💔
