The only downside to silence is Corrupted Healer ancients and Nullifiers. When these enemies do come just focus them so you can make sure you get full value out of silence. The only enemies that really are a threat with silence are Nullifier eximus as they can still use their eximus abilities with a bubble up but countering all but one eximus is pretty good imo. In high enemy density corpus with lots of nullifiers I wouldn’t recommend silence as the sheer amount of nullifiers makes it hard for silence to do its job even when shooting them all and I’d recommend something like nourish over that to make Toxin+Viral to just shred them.
I personally use defy and rolling guard with brief respite. Also why catalyzing shield you know you have a smaller shield gate ability than his base shields.
Yes but with catalyzing shields it makes reaching your full shield gate take only 1 cast of an ability which you will be doing anyway. It’s also a muscle memory thing as all shields used to only have a 1.33 invulnerability period so depending on the build it’s what I use. You can definitely use this build without it you would just adjust the shield mods to make it fit. The consistency is probably the main draw point for me tbh
@@horrible_videosI23 yeah for me brief respite, fast deflection and two augur mods (secrets and reach) with defy molt reconstruct and magnetic arcane has been my current endurance runs for level cap. Did silence and gloom once but than tried out defy and it just ended up feeling a lot better in imo. I can run into a ton of eximus "reflect" damage back which higher levels it going into the millions. But silence is really good for the event it's crazy sad loot cave was nerfed.

@zeromechdragon700 I always forget defy is insanely strong at level cap I should probably use it more
