"Ew she's a Mets fan." EOM continues to be the GOAT.
Blank was right when he said this had the best outro ever. I'm still laughing 🤣
I just saw it late but it was legendary lol
It was worth watching this trash crap just for that! 😂❤
Fuck this movie 🤣
As a member of team Jason this is the only movie in the franchise that I actively skip. With that said, I can't wait to see your reaction. Gonna be legendary.
As a member of team Freddy, I agree.
I always tell people, this is the movie the Halloween people were gonna make but it ended up a Friday movie. It seems like the horrible Halloweens in the nonsense cannon it adds for no reason. I actually think X is good so will be interested in his reaction when that comes around.
This is the bottom of the list for me. With the reboot and part 5 over it even though I also actively pretend 5 doesn’t exist.
@JohnTalbane87 the reboot is incredible
This was better then Jason X lol
*J's disappointment with this movie is hilarious.* 😆
Wait until he sees Jason X
@@lornenordstrom2969It's better than this abomination. It's bad but in a fun way imo.
@@lornenordstrom2969pardon my language but you’re an idiot bro… Jason X is legendary and J already loves the movie when he reacted
Kane Hodder played the cop with the mullet Jason killed at the hospital.
If you saw this in the theater when it first came out, people were screaming and losing their minds when Freddy's hand showed up at the end
I remember being absolutely shocked when that happened back in 1993 on the big screen. We didn't have the internet back then so spoilers just weren't a thing. Wasn't expecting it at all. Was also not expecting to have to wait 10 more years for the Freddy Vs Jason movie to actually happen either
Freddy's claw cameo was the best part lmao
Kane Hodder wearing the Freddy glove at the end pulling Jason's mask down with him. Setup foreshadowing a Freddy vs Jason movie.
Though, at the time, it was just an Easter egg. Freddy vs Jason was made purely from the fans reaction to that scene.
@@Bluesit32 I thought they tried making one in the 80s but the two studios couldn't work out a deal.
@@michaelpoore21 That was back when two different studios owned the rights.
@@Bluesit32 But here New Line owns both. That's what I meant by the foreshadowing of a vs movie.
Mark My Words, this is probably gonna be the funniest reaction on the channel…. PERIOD 💀😂 JL…. Godspeed bro 👊💯
It was kinda quiet
@@ligeiaztomb2755 the silence is what made it even more funnier because he was just baffled by what he was watching 😂😂
This movie and Halloween Resurrection are on the same level 🤣
This is even worse than Resurrection to me
That silence at the end of the video was loud lol
Dang, they dragged Colonel Deering into this mess? They did her dirty.
(For the youngin's, Diana was played by Erin Gray, who also played Colonel Wilma Deering in the late 70's show _Buck Rogers in the 25th Century)_
I remember her from Silver Spoons in the 80’s
@@DaedalFactotemyep Silver Spoons. Had a small crush on her then.
Hey, that is the first thing I thought when she popped up on the screen. Buck Rogers! I tried watching it a while back and it really isn’t as good as I remember. 😀 Of course compared to this movie….it’s probably a masterpiece.
@@tanyahendricks8465 I tried too! And you're right - not as good as when I was a kid. I had to turn it off so it didn't ruin that childhood memory 😅
I think I could safely rewatch the original Battlestar Galacta though. I hope, lol?
This one is actually one of my favorites, despite being the most hated one. It's different
Same here
Same! It's fun
I like it too.
Thank you! It runs with the ridiculousness which makes it funny. It’s ‘Drag me to Hell’/‘Malignant’ type horror. 😂😂❤
I've always liked it too.
Growing up in a US military base in Japan during the early 90's, this was the first Friday The 13th movie I saw at the theater. The place was packed of course with military servicemen. My dad took me and my brother to see this past our bedtime, after we begged him. I remember a lot of audible reactions throughout the film, but most notably the ending with Freddy's glove grabbing the mask. The movie isn't great but good times, indeed.
The outro killed me🤣🤣
Fuck this movie 🤣
The cop with the beard in the hospital was kane hodder!
I was having an awful day but this reaction has me dying 🤣 thank you!!!
And people say Jason X is the worst. That’s a lie, this is
Jason X is dope
Jason X is exactly what a Jason sequel should be. It’s not great but none of these movies ever were. They were fun and inventive especially for their times. Jason X is no different. It’s just not a new idea anymore.
I wouldn’t say Jason X is one of the best Friday the 13th movies in my opinion, but it is a fun ride. Anyone who says Jason goes to hell is better than anything needs their head examined. This thing is trash.
Jason X knows exactly what it is, and that's why its so fun to watch.
Jason Goes to Hell had no idea what it wanted to be, and that's why, even if I do own the boxed set, It's the one I watch the least after V.
@@Y2KNW Part 3 is the most watched isn't it?
Now you've hit the true dregs....but at least Jason X is still to come!!!
Basically the Director's idea was to retcon Jason as being a Deadite, so that's why the Necronomicon and the dagger were in it. They hired a scriptwriter to make a script from the Director's idea, thought it was a bad script, hired another screenwriter to re-write that script who did it in 4 days, also didn't like that script but shot it anyways lol I don't know why anyone thought it was a good idea to make a Friday the 13th movie and have Jason barely be in it though.
It was Sean Cunningham himself who wanted Jason out of it. The only two he was involved with was the original and this one.
I assumed it was an original script that they turned in to a Jason movie, this is so so much worse than that.
The documentary on CZcams called "how Newline destroyed a franchise" goes into great detail about why this movie tanked so bad. Making Jason a deadite was probably one of the dumbest decisions.
What about 5… He’s not in it
Cant wait for Jason X! Its honestly one of my favorites
Jason didn’t have a full-blooded sister - she was a half-sister. Jason was born in 1946, and his mother’s grave in part 4 shows how old she was when she died. When you do the math, she got pregnant and gave birth to Jason when she was 16 years old. Jason’s father, Elias, is assumed to have been a grown man who knocked her up and then split. He had another family, and Diana was his daughter. So she and Jason are half-siblings through their father; his mother never knew or cared about her. That’s where that story came from.
Jason was always able to make noises, he just usually didn’t. Before he was completely zombified, he still grunted, and even in part 8 after he got the toxic waste thrown in his face and started melting, he was screaming in pain.
I think a big opportunity was lost that they never made a prequel trilogy about Creighton Duke, showing how he became a bounty hunter, other serial killers he’d captured, and how he came across the type of being Jason was and where he got that mystical dagger from. Could have been a hit series.
I think Jason Lives is the only one of the original series where he doesn’t make any sounds. Coincidentally the novelization of Jason Lives is where Elias is introduced.
This is probably Kane Hodder's least favorite Friday The 13th he's played Jason in 😂 Probably was glad he got to play an FBI agent as a cameo in this one.
Your reactions to this movie are comedy gold, you had me in hysterics throughout 😂😂😂
"What.The.F*ck." Sums up this movie pretty good
The Heart eating scene is one of my favorites from the franchise. It’s so silly , I can’t help but to LMAO 😂 😂
lol "im takin shots cause im hurt!" put that on a shirt!
One of the security guards with the beard plays as Jason Voorhees. Kane Hodder is his name. The sister of Jason was played by Erin Moran who also starred in the NBC TV show Buck Roger in the 25th Century in the early 1980' s.
No, that's Erin Gray. Erin Moran was Joanie from Happy Days.
I've never seen J so dejected and disappointed before about a movie!
Found your Channel about a week ago! I’m rocking with it bro your commentary funny asf sometimes lol keep going ya thing folks much love & respect from Philly!💪🏾
Welcome to the family!
@@EOMReacts appreciate it bro! 😎
I haven't laughed this hard in ages. Thank you for you taking one for the team!
This was the reaction I was anticipating, and I’m so glad you took one for the team.
😂😂😂 i had to watch your reaction on this one 😂😂😂 my favorite part was when Freddy grabs Jason's mask
Night of the demons, the 80s one, would be HILARIOUS!!
I needed this laugh before I have this baby next week. Thank you for this, J and Blank 😂
14:34 the faces take me out 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You had me laughing on this one. 😆
I have rarely laughed so much - your reactions are classic!
I unapologetically like this film. Here is why.
This movie, and direcror, get a raw deal. The director Adam Marcus was TOLD by Sean Cunningham and the executives specifically "get rid of the mask" because they didn't want to be tethered to it anymore. They wanted to go in a new direction.
Adam arguably did fill plot holes from ALL of the previous movies (and there are many). Why was Jason a child in movie one and then a grown ass man in Two....when those films weren't years apart...they were set weeks/months apart. Why was Jason inexplicably a person who could not die, when he only truly became a true zombie around movie 6. How does he "teleport"? Is he magic? There are lots of holes....this ofders explanation for them.
Making Jason, essentially a Kandarian demon (bc of the Necronomicom/Evil Dead shout out, which btw is the REAL Necronomicon on lend from Sam Raimi). It solves all of the plot hole issues.
My husband likes to think that Pamela was so desperate that she would do ANYTHING to resurrect her child, including turning to demonic magic.
AFTER ithe movie wasn't received well, everyone went back on the directives that they gave Adam.
Now all of the interviews with the offenders are like "yeah he got rid of the mask and it just didn't work", and theybshit talk the directives that THEY gave .....and they throw Adam under the bus entirely. He was a young filmaker (and friends with Sean's son) so I guess they felt comfortable hanging him out to dry.
If you watch the interviews and listen to the several commentaries, you get the whole story.
I feel bad for Adam bc he kinda got screwed by the directives...and now it is his legacy.
Additional fun facts: ...that jungle gym in the front yard is THE one from Hitchcock's THE BIRDS, on lend for Universal. The crate with the Antarctica Expedition is not from THE THING as many people think, but from CREEPSHOW.
THE Freddy glove is THE glove used (it came in a locked suitcase with a guard...whereas the Necronomicon came in a ziplock bag from Raimii lol)
I LOVE Leslie Jordan in this movie. He is a scream.
Also, at the time it came out, that final shot was EVERYTHING and the ONLY THING anyone talked about.
Love you guys!! 🖤
Loved your reaction after Jason is blown up 😂 and your reaction at the end of the video was brilliant 😄
This movie is over the top in all the right ways 😂. Love your stuff man, keep it up!
“This shit has drove me to drinking”. Only thing that made this movie great was your reaction to it brother!
8:37 That's Kane Hodder, the guy who had been playing Jason since part seven. This would be his penultimate Jason role. Just Jason X remained. Victim prior to that was the director of the movie, I think.
There are some decent effects in this movie actually, the plot is just batshit crazy.
I never thought i would rewatch this movie, yet here i am doing it for u! Lmao
The movie that broke J! Days later I'm still laughing, especially at that outro!
I just realized with this reaction, J, that Blank is making you live his own twisted version of Mystery Science Theatre 3000, with Rom and Drago replacing Tom Servo and Crow.
😂😂😂
Legendary outro.
I have seen the first 8 Friday the 13th movies so many times growing up but I never understood why neither my parents or anyone else talked about this one-- now I can see why.
The best thing about this movie was briefly seeing the late, great Leslie Jordan. I will say watching J react to it made the experience more enjoyable haha.
At least this movie didn't have Busta Rhymes killing Jason
Lol. Ofcourse a Jason fanboy would bring that up. This movie is pure 💩
I'd watch Resurrection over this any day of the week.
I haven't watched this in over 20 years, but I owned two copies of the VHS as a kid. I just noticed that the guard at the morgue that they immediately show dead on the news is Kane Hodder! Jason Voorhees himself.
Love to watch your reactions. Granted I do not have the fan base that you have I wanted to say I mentioned both the gaming channel and your movie reaction channel on my CZcams channel in a video today. You are an inspiration and I enjoy the content you put on here. Thank for everything you guys do
The disappointment in his face is priceless lol I knew this would be his reaction. I can't wait till Jason X reaction he will be a little happier but not much lol.
4:17 and there goes the film peeps night night 🤣
Your reaction to this film is the same as mine when I first saw this cinematic masterpiece - once. Good times. Makes you miss Friday the 13th - 1, 2, 4, 6 and even 7. Thank you. ahahah
9:14. This is why this is my favorite Jason film
Man J was so mad and cut it short. That's a first for me to see that.
The security guard that called Jason a pussy is the man himself, Kane Hodder, who actually played Jason as well as Victor Crowley in the Hatchet franchise
I legit thought you would like this movie. 😂. I love this one.
Trivia: the couple who got killed in the tent. They were dating in real life. In fact they'd broken up before filming this movie.
Guard who says "He was nothing more then a big old p@#*y anyway. That's Kane Hodder who plays Jason.
Noted
The whole idea with that kill was that she would be coming then going.
Every time I watch this I want a Jason Burger.
I was wondering what J’s reaction was going to be at the very end to Freddy’s glove popping out of the dirt and pulling Jason’s mask down.
But I definitely was not expecting, “I need another drink.” Followed by a minute of complete silence, then ending with…
“Phuck this movie…”
😂😂😂
I was expecting him saying Freddy's glove in the last scene was the only good part in the movie
@@jurassic_zilla_01 it definitely made me lose my shit when I first saw it. But then again, I’m a huge Freddy and Jason fan.
Unironically my favorite Friday if only because it was the first i saw as a kid, that Gov ambush in the beginning was so stupidly amazing and the rest was just stupid 😂😂😂😂
"How did Jason get from New York?"
Remember last movie when you mentioned teleportation?
I can't catch my breath I'm laughing so hard. EOM can barely deal with it lolololol. Trying to leave like 4 times. XD
Now you know how I felt watching this movie
When no one is commenting to you about a specific movie in a franchise, it's generally because those who have seen it watched it that one time, and then try to forget having ever watched it in the first place. That will essentially be your clue for any franchise moving forward. Otherwise you'll encounter those who either love or despise a movie. But crickets chirping regarding a movie...... there's a reason this movie has the lowest audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes of the entire franchise.
I'll give you credit, though, you're a trooper just like the rest of us fans. With each new movie, we held out hope that the movie will at least be better than this one and watch it just to see how it goes. These make the original four movies of the franchise more and more rewatchable, if not just to get what we just watched out of our minds and remind ourselves exactly why we actually love the franchise. Even the fifth movie ends up being enjoyable in a rewatchable sense, before things really started going off the rails. Just sayin'.
But, I had to watch just to see the looks on your face. Absolutely priceless. Thanks. Because if I didn't laugh, I'd probably have cried.
yep, that was my reaction too, except i was pulling a 'WTF' face the whole movie
Oh! AND Adam Marcus said, regarding the beginning sting operation, that if a small area like Crystal Lake had THAT many murders in a like 2 mile area, it would be a Federal Issue...that is no longer local jurisdiction.....that is a governement level serial killer problem. ...and I always thought that was funny and brilliant. 😂
Lol I'm all in. I wanna see if you say "Jason would never". Freddy came back with the last 1
Hahaha "Blow up-able" and "Jason cosplaying as people".....great reaction, I have seen this movie a lot of times and Im still like "what tf is going on?"
This reaction is hilarious. I remember being kid when this came out, and I had a cousin tell me everything that happened. And i thought my cousin was so full of crap.
Forgot all about those guys repelling down from the trees. For some reason, I always got a little chuckle out of that.
How to make Jason Goes To Hell in 3 easy steps - 1) take 1987's "The Hidden - 2) spinkle 0.00025 ounces of Jason - 3) Make it suck... like, all the chimps at the zoo
Poor Jay, trying to make sense of this trainwreck of movie 😂
Thats the one thing you should never do is trying to make sense of a Friday the 13th movie!
Jason's mama belonged to the streets. 2 kids an no baby daddy.
Actually… only Jason is her son.
She didn’t have any other children. Diana is Jason’s half sister from his father’s side. Plus, Jason’s daddy wasn’t shit since he basically raped his momma and left her to raise Jason by herself.
This movie has to be my favorite one!! This ish is hilarious 😭😂😂😂🤣🤣
If I'm doing a marathon I stop at part 8, and pretend the other ones don't exist.
Best outro 😂
I was so excited to see you react to this movie.I knew you would hate it so much. And the three words that you said after the movie were just perfect.
Jason groaned at being stabbed in part 3 and 4.
This could have been a 30-minute reaction of you opening wrapped Christmas presents only to discover there wasn’t anything in the box..
8:36 I'm pretty sure the big guard is the guy that played him in past movies
2:53 Hey man tell your editor he left a booty shot in there 😂😂.
I cannot imagine seeing this in theaters as a Jason fan lmao I would’ve rioted
I'm proud you got through it
when i watched it i got maybe 10 mins in and was like NOPE
This was a good one ! 😂🎉
Maniac Cop 1, 2, and 3.. You gotta see it LoL This was entertaining af
"Fuck this movie" Well said 🤣
Great reaction sir 🫡
This a bad Friday the 13th sequel but it’s a great sequel to The Hidden lol.
They gave you the censored version. You missed out on some great gore damn.
Lmao is all i can say reaction was spot on😂
Love the captions on the thumbnail, stfu😂
Been anxious to see what J would think of this one. It's Freddy vs Jason I can't wait for. I am SO looking forward to that one.
Duke played the character " X " in the best TV show ever X-Files. Most of the Jason movies are ridiculous. Jason X & Jason vs Freddy were decent.
this one is easily the black sheep of the family but it definitely has its merits- its unique to say the least hahaha
It gets better after this, bro. I mean, it could only get better after this. Lol
I’m just excited for the 2009 remake reaction. Hands down my favorite F13 movie
Ive never sat through this movie before. Only have seen parts. I can see now I wasn't missing much lol
So what was worse?
Freddy's Dead:Final Nightmare?
Or
Jason goes to Hell:Final Friday?
You need a strong drink watching both these movies. The trash of their franchises. Coincidentally in the end Freddy and Jason got taken out by an out of the blue family member (Freddy's daughter/Jason's niece).
Jason grunted before so is not a random noise they came up with
Oh wait! I forgot about Jason X! He slashes people like crazy in that!
