That whole "Do you think he's dead" followed by "They never are" before backing over that thing is my brother's favorite part out of any horror movie.
That’s about the only time you ever see a smart character in a horror movie.

Derry was targeted because of hia level of fear. He was ten times more scared of the creeper then his sister because of what he saw in the drain pipe. It didnt take Jazelle at all because she was unhealthy. It couldnt utilize any of her organs or parts. He goes after healthy people to eat to regenerate parts of himself. He lost his leg in the car hits. The next time we see it hes eating a prisoners leg to heal its own. Its a really cool creature design totally original. The crows arent always around the creeper because he attracts crows. The crows are always around as a warning to stay away. Crows have been found in nature to scare people and animals away from dangerous spots. Crows are awesome. Great reaction!!!

Love crows. They're so damn smart.
It is how the creeper caught his scent initially yes. But it's also why he was smelling both of them at the end. Who had more fear. And his dirty college clothes also helped him narrow down the scent. They probably smell similar, same college same sort of life style brother and sister. Traveling across country together in a small confined space. Derry was flipping out the whole movie after he was in the hole. Which I mean fair enough 😂 that scene haunted kids for years 😂🎭👻😭🤣😞😛

God is good because He gives His blessings to everyone, whether they be good or bad. but everyone has at least, told a lie, or stolen something in their life. and that makes them sinners, and God will not allow sinners in heaven; in His presence, because He is holy. so, God has to punish the sinners in hell, because God is just. but God is also love and He made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps:
1. admit that you're a sinner and are lost.
2. realize that the penalty of sin is death (hell).
3. believe that Jesus (who is God) died on the cross, was buried, then rose from the grave, to pay the penalty for man's past, present, and future sins.
4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven (nor a combination of faith and your self-righteous works).
5. pray to God NOW that you're receiving this free gift because if you die before accepting Christ's sacrifice, it's too late, and you'll 🔥🔥😰
6. tell people about Jesus, read the bible, go to church regularly to know God's will for your life.

If they can deceive you or manipulate you, they LOVE that. They live for that. So when they eat human flesh or drink human blood, we TASTE better because fear gives off a hormone called adrenochrome and demons love the taste of it. Driving the car is also a part of his deception. Remember: evil LOVES to deceive.
What's even more freaky is you realize at the end, it took off the back of Derry's head and hollowed it out to the eyes.
Justin Long was absolutely amazing in this movie, you csn see and feel the fear that he has, just shows how good of a actor he really is. Another good horror movie that he's great in is Drag me to Hell
I have a special love for this movie, not only because I grew up watching this and the sequel a lot, but also because it was filmed in my neck of the woods! Especially the church scene.

JC 1&2 are amazing. this is one of those movies where I hope people go into it not knowing anything about it. I love how it builds up to reveal what he is. can’t wait for the tongue scene. I remember the truck parts being the scariest parts.
2 is really good. The Creeper is the last great monster from the movies.

I remember being like 14 years old we rented the original for 2€ several times. Best era for horror VHS if you ask me
I looove the first half of this movie, but once it’s reveled to be a supernatural creature my interest goes zero. I was expecting a creepy serial killer story. And I’m still mad I got bamboozled

Fun Fact: Inside the restaurant is an arcade with a clownhouse theme. Clownhouse (1989) is a movie directed by Victor Salva.
Vis Versa Fact: Towards the end of the movie, Jonathan Breck, without makeup, appears as a bald policeman. The last shot of the Creeper, is Justin Long in make-up.
Automobile Enthusiast Fact: The original truck from the film is owned by a private collector in Maryland, who kept it as a relic and also provided it for the production of Jeepers Creepers 3 (2017). He also rents it for some events and conventions.
Location Location Fact: Director Victor Salva wanted the countryside settings for the film to have an eerie quality about them. However Salva said that the Florida filming locations were so beautiful that often times the footage for the film would have to be darkened down to give the locations a more menacing appearance.
Historical Fact: Victor Salva has always said the Creeper legend is complete fiction but the scene where Trish (Gina Philips) and Darry (Justin Long) witness the Creeper (Jonathan Breck) dumping a body down a well by an abandoned church was inspired by the case of Dennis DePue, a former Michigan Property Assessor who murdered his wife and was seen by witnesses near an old school house with a bloody sheet. Two witnesses also recall DePue speeding past them in a van and eventually tailing them and riding their bumper for several miles. The case was also profiled on a 1990 episode of Unsolved Mysteries (1987).

"Jeepers Creepers II" is really not bad, either. New crew of victims those trying to fight. The original is probably the best, but the second may be worth a watch. Your reactions--never a dull moment!

When I saw this for the first time in the theatre I knew nothing of the story or plot and it has ever since then been one of my favorite horror films. Seen it more times than I should admit!

Jonathan Breck done a great job playing the Creeper. He's a real cool and nice guy. I met him at Scarefest in Lexington Ky. last year.
The Frighteners (1996) starring Michael J. Fox would be an awesome movie! A classic that needs new life

I always thought it fed off fear and she wasn't afraid of him so when she's says to take me that was actually a big mistake for her brother just like the psychic she kept her cool and he left her alone

I'd say you're both right, the creepy does hunt by smelling fear, Jerry was the most afraid. He was the most afraid because of what he saw in the basement of the church, Trish didn't see what Jerry saw. Despite what she saw what the creeper did to the officers, she was mostly fearless

I think if i understand the storyline, the creeper chooses its victims up and down the highway, and her car was a classic, definitely not fast. Once the creeper chooses you, itll track you down. So its possible derry fate was sealed the first time it smelled his fear. but of course the main reason they didnt just keep going was tbered be no movie. Still my favorite reactor and only reactor im on patreon for. Youre totally worth it! Have you done the paranormal activity franchise? Blair witch project?
I saw this at one of the last operating drive in movie theaters around, in WV (it still shows movies today) and a lightening storm started kicking off during the movie, it was wild!

@DragonQueen78 yeah, it's kinda obvious the Creeper made the plates. He makes his weapons so a plate wouldn't be too hard for him.
4:18 I love the shot of Jeepers Creepers in the distance outside the church in broad daylight. As someone who drives through the woods all the time, looking for wildlife and stuff, that scene felt very raw and realistic, visually.
Just the way you can only vaguely see him in broad daylight. It's quite an accomplishment to be able to make something look intimidating or creepy in broad daylight, while also not completely revealing him.. He also kinda reminds me of the Undertaker in that shot.

The first half of this movie was the scariest experience I ever had in the cinema. I was frozen in fear. Then the reveal of the monster happened and it turned into a good horror instead of a masterpiece. I still watch this once a few times a year.

One of my favourite horror films and awesome reaction.
Saw this in the theater my senior yr and was completely blown away. Not even 5min out the gate, as soon as I notice the Detroit patty wagon coming up behind them, I was on the edge of my seat and stayed there.
Hands down my favorite moment, which at the time was also my biggest WTF moment, is when he stands up on top of the cop car.

I love the hell out of the first two Jeepers. Its unfortunate who made them, but this is one of those occasions when you REALLY need to separate the art from the artist.

I remember the first time I saw this movie it was probably 2002 and I was at my aunt's house watching it with my cousin during one of our family get-togethers. Probably one of the holidays. And we are sitting there watching it and the whole time we just think that it's a killer like in scream or I know what You did last summer. And then there's the shot of the creeper standing on the roof of the car while they are driving down the interstate and my cousin and I just look at each other and scream what the fuck!!! She and I had no clue that it was anything but a human haha. Great movie. Wish the director wasn't such a piece of shit so we could have gotten a conclusion

Trish, does not. Trish will put up a fight. Darry, Nope. Creeper KNOWS this.
No, no, no. It doesn't feed off fear. Fear allows it to smell what it needs in a person's body. That's why the Creeper had to get up close and personal to the pair. It knew ONE of them had the eyes it wanted, but it wasn't sure which one it was until then. It's a matter of genetics. Think of it like looking for an organ donor. Only the right kind of organ will do. Her eyes were no good.
@@Bluesit32 Creeper also ONLY goes after men because it too, is a man, of sorts, kinda', sorta', so to say. I think, it would only need eyes, from a woman, "maybe" mouth, nose, ears but nothing else. Trish and Jazelle are STRONG willed. Creeper doesn't want or need that, isnt longing for it. He wants, the weakest.
Derrie just so happens to be that one.
@@Mickkie If it only went after men, it wouldn't be sniffing Jazelle or Trish, now would it? The things it devours are morphed into its own organs, as seen in the sequel where the Creeper replaces its own head. It doesn't matter what gender they used to be. They become the Creeper's. And it has no issue taking people who are strong. After all, it is strong enough nearly lift a truck into the air with its wings. It's not like it's going to run into anyone who can match it physically.

EOM it me again!! I'm still waiting for you to watch The Mothman Prophecies... Dare you to sit in the dark with your fur babies and watch it. It's based on true events. It's one movie that still gets to me and I was raised around horror. I love it. Only this movie and Zelda from Pet sematary gets me... Please react to this movie!
One movie i recomend is homeward bound the incredible journey especially around or on thanksgiving
