I was there!! I remember because it was Cynic and Sinister opening for Cannibal Corpse. We even met Chris Barnes and smoked a couple of joints with him. *Fucking rad!*
I remember this lead singer having 2 smoking hot chick's in black skirts after the show, and he was definitely a cool dude. Even snagged a Jack Owen's auto..great show indeed
I saw this tour in Berkeley. Mike van Mastrigt is still the only vocalist I can remember headbanging WHILE he was singing. He does it a little in this concert, be did it repeatedly at the show I was at.
@@Conscious_Pirate This was my very first Death Metal show. It was my first year in highschool and I had started getting into Death Metal a year or so before this. After Sinister played Mike came out to the merch booth and hung out. I talked to him a bit and bought a tape. Then sent away for the Relapse mail-order catalog and my fate was sealed. So literally Sinister was the gateway drug into more underground stuff. Before this I had only heard stuff like CC, Napalm Death and whatever else was being played on headbangers ball. Man those were the days! So killer to see this!
