There's a lot of great songs made by metallica, such as "The day that never comes", "The unforgiven", "Ride the thunder".. but it's just a personal choice to put or not put that song in this playlist. 1 hour is not enough for all their great stuff
Was listening in my lab and stopped to read the comments. It's fantastic to see so many comments from all walks of life, all ages, from all over the world, from just one band.
What the hell, people? These guys took the time to put together a compilation album and all you can do is complain just because your personal favorite song is not on the list? Come on. Just enjoy the music. You can search for your favorite song by itself if you want to hear that.

So hating upon Metallica is basically trashing some of your favorite metal bands out there too. Respect Metallica, because without them, the metal world wouldn't be what it is now.

I was really surprised to see young people (gen x, etc) who enjoy this old music. This is good.
Gen X'er in that group for sure! Growing up in the 80s was a complete blast ( was 11 in 1980 so majority of my teen years were spent, in my opinion, in the most fun decade in a long time!). Rules were much more relaxed-no curfews-I used to be out at all hours and survived. Police didn't hassle people about that many things- there was more of a "just stop doing that and go on your way" attitude toward "small" things. I had all the Metallica records and also loved Iron Maiden a lot-still do 🙂Miss those those times and love many genres from that time period.

@@Nautilus1972 Except The Day That Never Comes? Execpt that isnt here either....?? Bleeding Me is a great track, but TLITD does not belong a greatest hits, Dyers Eve would belong before that track. Dont get me wrong, its a great track but its long and not even close to the best instrumental, though the interlude is up there with Orion.
