I am woefully late to viewing this video, but you sir, you do some very nice fabrication and prep on the metal to be welded. I am getting ideas for fabricating up a tailgate for my grain bed dump truck, to spread gravel for my 1-mile long driveway.

Good job on this. but why didn't you just leave the original tail on truck instead of building a new one?

I made two gates.
This one (new dump tail gate)
Second swing tail gate using some original parts.
