I really like how he explains everything hes doing
Did grass on the back garden, only took 8 cans of larger lol
Is that similar to lager?
@@DaiViking some people just can’t take a joke
That was a fair days work Andy 👍🏻.
I was also mowing today. I used a Bosch34r rotak. Didn’t bother with headlands as this baby can turn on a sixpence. I did 28.75 m2, I used about 5.5p of electric and it took me 15 minutes. I’m happy to lend it to you if yours starts playing up 👍🏻😁
😂😂👏🏻
😂😂😂
Amazing to think that you can cover that much mowing in one day and no mechanical breakdowns, absolute credit to you, fantastic Andy.
They have no stones in their land, bit different here in ireland 😂
I run a 8340 ford with the same rear mower as you just finished mowing 138 acres and used 210 litres of desiel and two flasks of coffee and a litre of water
Good, solid farming video showing a good job done well. Nice to see a JD being put through it's paces and doing what it was built for👍
I usually drive a John Deere 9520rx to do chisel ploughing in rice fields here in Northern California.
Tractor usually burns 700 plus litres in a 12 hour shift. It is the best tractor I’ve ever driven power, comfort ease of use. It’s a fair big change from the aul Massey Ferguson 185 I use to drive on my dads farm in Ireland. Have a safe and productive season!
I just started playing farming simulator 2019.... it is way addictive. I've never even thought of farming stuff... that game has made me want to see these big machines for real. This guy is good... he shows us everything... I'll be watching more.
Farming is hard work. I did it for years when I was a young fella but decided to drive a truck instead of staying in the farming business. And now that I'm an old fart, I drive a truck part time and work on a farm part time. Now a days I enjoy the farming a lot more than driving a truck.
To all farmers young and old. keep safe around farm machinery like the machine
This fella has the "neck swivel" of a fighter pilot.
I helped my neighbor with mowing, and we did about 250 hectares in eight hours. We where two triplets working together.
Very impressive fast mowing and looking after the wildlife another good vid 🚜👍🏴
So you came up in my recommended as i worked on a farm few years ago and miss it like mad. So glad youtube recommended yourself. Loved this video and plan on watching loads more tonight not an early night for me lol.
Good job. Nice equipment. Thanks for sharing.
Videos always made better with an appearance from Eric! Fields look awesome once cut from the air.. a good days work!
Absolutely loving the videos Andy!
Great video Andrew, love the smell of fresh grass!!
Good going! The drone shots looked great, they must help with sense of achievement when you see all those rows from above!
That silo roof would make a great gopro vantage point for a time lasp vid, from start to finish including sheeting and tyres. Top job guys Stay Safe.
We've had to say goodbye to our 23 year old Pöttinger rear mower. It's been a good couple of years.
Our new mower arrived yesterday, a Pronar TDR 300 rear mower. We'll see how she handles the next cut.
Another great farming video and a great example of man and machine in harmony, especially when its a green machine as they are the best by far. Keep on rolling Andy, here's to the next one. Cheers.
Cutting hay is still one of my favourite jobs. 🚜
call it grass here in the uk
Robert S hat is cut in uk and Ireland too
You cut Grass and dry it into hay ;)
Are you an English teacher and a farmer bob
InstaBlaster.
Good going to get all mowed in a day. Mowing is with out doubt my favorite job. Doing ours next week.... 😛😊👌
Great Video again Andy hope the weather holds out
Yo Andy !!! The joys of auto steer and the joys of mowing square strips with no triangles at the end of em in all the fields must be something to treasure fella!! The amount of trees at the opposite end of the field I picked out when stripping..... omg they always seemed to move ffs!!! Anyhoo the set up you have and at a rate of 2.5 or so ltrs per acre is fantastic.....!!! Stay safe and give Eric a good rub on the noggin for me!! Cracking vid lad!!
Great video I love silage season, sadly don't farm anymore but love these videos you do . Thanks 👍🏻
Some really good drone shots music fits in well keep it up 👌
Great job again, you certainly earned your corn today 👏
Really enjoyed that video ,used to love mowing !
Great Vid. one thing i will say for the new autopowr gearbox in the johndeere tractors there is a massive torque increase as when we got the a new tractor we got the same horespower just the new autopowr gearbox and its so much better, really noticable on the drill as the old tractor with the old direct gearbox was constantly on its knees. can't wait to try it out on the baler. would love to someday get one with a joystick.
Fair bit of grass there. To cut my grass, fuel use will be approximately half a kit kat. No tractor required. Great video. Can't wait to see the follow up videos.
Nice size hay fields. The drone footage of the area of the country you farm an are from looks nice. My John Deere lawnmower goes two weeks before it needs refueling. Lol.
Great stuff Andy
Just discovered the channel. Vids pitched just right love it. 👍
My favourite job. Nice set up mate.
l love watching your mowing your fields thanks Steve Lunt l got Xbox one farming simulator 19. It's video 👍. l like playing it lots 🚜
Great video again! Got to love the the Chris Packham joke. Plonka that he is !
Your videos are sooo calming. Great video 👍🏻
Great mowing Andy.very very good fuel.usage compared to mowing with a smaller tractor with one mower
great first cut video mate my briggs ans stratton mower with 2 feet power get a tank a week 😂😂
Great video. Very enjoyable. Loved the drilling insert 👍👌
The drone sequence from 17m 28s on is superb.
Great vid good work with the young Hare
A smart bit of kit excellent
Great video Andy.
Great video, enjoyed watching!
I mow with a remapped New Holland t7 210 and triples. Round here in South Wales nearly every field is a slope so mowing obviously uses more diesel. I was mowing a 150 acre farm the other day. Mowed about 100 acres and had to go and fill up, it took 300l. Then mowed the rest and used another 100l. that's 400l and was only about a 12 hour day. The type of grass we have around here is usually quite dense and the conditioners really have their work cut out. On a typical day mowing I will normally catch a few stones and have to replace some blades. Farmers don't know their fields like they used to nor do they bother to roll them.
Great video Andy hope you had a nice birthday keep up the good work buddy
Great video Andy👍
Good video. Enjoyed watching it from New Zealand
Great vid love them 👌
Great video Andy, looks a fair size crop, could of done a crop of grass seed and baled it for hay two years running, you won't be getting a new Holland then, mowers doing a good job, hope round up still about in two years to spray it off before you plough it.
I run Kuhn 9.5m non conditioning triples on a Fastrac 4220 in S.Island NZ.
I cut up to 120ha per day and average 3 l/ha when mowing,I generally chop through a full tank on the Fastrac in a 12 hour day.
That's very good fuel economy from the Sisu/agco motor.
So 296 acres on 360l of diesel, is 1.2l an acre, that's 1.1 litre less than Andy's doing here. So about half the fuel used?
I'm using non-conditioning mowers, plus one more 3M mower, 1/3 less trips around the paddock and less effort to run,so your figures are spot on you maths wizard.
Nice drone work good video
Sure work in a beautiful part of the world there Andy , no trees up here like that in the far north of Scotland.
Great video love that kit your using 😎🤙🏻
That is a cool setup. I use a Massey Ferguson 2705e with a rear bush hog. Takes me about 3 Days to do 40 acres with about 10 gallons of full.
This looks like paradise on earth
Hi there love the video good work it been a Long time since I have done grass work but this year I have gone back to it after about 15 years away from it because I have been arable manager on a farm The farm I worked on has been rented out this year soI have gone back to being a contractor now so all new
Another interesting and informative video, thanks 😊
Nice content ... really impressed
proper days work well done! great editing and sound sir
The smell of fresh cut grass.
I loved mowing, the smell was great, all I have to go on now is mowing the lawn lol On another note, my son's best mate lost his crazy spaniel to a tumour, had to be put down, he was a great dog, apparently my son says his mates dad was crying and very upset, its like loosing a family member, the need a new crazy spaniel now :-) I hear that is the plan :-) rip archie
Nice vid, nice grass... Under two and a half litres/acre is pretty good going I'd say.
We just mowed first cut here in the Netherlands. We use a massey Ferguson 6270. With a krone 320 mower without conditioner and a krone 283 mower with conditioner. For a total of nearly 6 meter working with. We were doing about 30 hectares that day. We finished in 10 hours and used about 160 liters of diesel. However I might add it was really heavy cut. Grass was toler than the front mower
Farming simulator 2020 looks sick!!
Good job andy
Cheers from the states!
Great vid matey, cracking drone shots too! Long day eh?
Great video!
doin like 20ha in about 5 hours with a fendt 716 with krone mowers 3m front and a mounted 3,6m in the back. fuel usage comes to around 13 liter/h but we are only going around 12kph.
Thanks Mike Foster for sharing this. I subbed!!
Won't be any mowing for me this year with the coronavirus unfortunately. This video makes up for it a bit though. Good job.
Great job mate iam from vinton Ia.USA u just can't beat a Deere
Awesome job👍👍👍
Great video
Nice video Andy, with great machinery of JD, Eric! All works well, with great instructions. Thanks 👍🏻
With the one handle controllign everything is very nice also. Has this JD is CVT like Fendt or is it with power shift or else? Am not that familiar with JD, but looks as a modern machine as well.
Happy also to discover you have zones or stewardstrips as you call them at the side of the parcels for where nature & biodiversity purpose with flower wildlife preservation! Great to see guys 😊👌
makes me sad i dont have my 155r any more i loved it LEDs all round the full was brilliant .
What do you have now?
@@Louis-B-53 160 puma CVX
How come the drone footage of the freshly cut grass with all the rows look so beautiful!!
I like the video Andy
U might be a mainly arable boy but u got to admit u can't beat a bit of green fever. Our jd mounted rear is ready to go but not got a call for it yet. Well done for getting the leveret to safety
Good stuff I'm subscribing 👍
I used 323 litres of fuel in a day using front and rear mowers in a Valtra T series
Kites, or Buzzards.! ?
Chris Packham would be SSOOOOO very proud of your ornithological knowledge 😂😂... 😘
Beaut video chap 👍
Bravo ; Great video / Great machines. Canadian farmers- American farmers mow / bale their hay ; Late June ; Early July . Canadian farmers Love John Deere Farm Equipment . Greetings from Canada .
Good vid Andy the Deere did well...looks like Eric enjoyed himself too👍
Great vid keep it
We were mowing and tending for silage with side swing a class disco and a potinger teder today
My 7626 will do 150 acres on a tank
Now then Andy. Cut 60 acre yesterday then filled up before moving away from farm. Used 166 litres. 4.5 hours to cut.
Love the tractor
We’re taking our cut on Wednesday i think 🤞
Chris Packham will get his knickers in a twist 😀
Nice video 👌😊
impressive andy
i got the same shirt you feel like a brother to me 😂😂😂😂
A new Holland or Fendt would do a proper days work and mow for 12 hours or more but your JD needs it's rest😀😁
JD 7290R and a JF gxt 13005 and a jf gxf 3605. Did 52 ha in 4 hours on 4 fields. used about 280-300 ltr diesel.
