But we don't have united politics and we contribute very less personal to defense (we contribute a lot in engg but not in personal). So if we divide the south from North, we will divide more into separate regions and can't defend ourselves. There could be lot of reasons to divide and less reasons to unite. But history has shown united we raise, fall if we are divided. Let us bury this divisive talk. Also, economics, political stability, etc etc are cyclic .. there will be a time (couple of centuries) when one region will contribute more in an aspect than other. So looking only from wealth creation is not a good logic.
