This song “thaniye” refers to the earth as the first two line of the song translates into “i have been waiting forever in solemn(alone), and with that oh earth/land(referring to the girl), i will win your patience”
U must watch meenas debut movie in telugu as an adult (she was a child artist too) called sitaramayya gari manmaraalu.. Beautiful movie and melodious songs and the most underrated phenomenal performance by meena and the legendary ANR.. Pls do watch it.
