7700 XT with a price tag of 375$ would be such a destroyer of the markets.
That is like a dream
it is €479 here.. darn american tax scam
I’d be fine with $400-ish honestly, even that is just so much better than $450
Especially with the 7800 xt pretty close in price
@@jeroen5736 Did you forget that American prices don't include the taxes you'll have to pay?
After 9 months 100$+ difference now it makes sense
The 7800 XT is the perfect sweet spot for 1440p. It gives you everything you need for a good experience, and it doesn't cost an absurd amount of money.
€600 is absurd
@@niemoikein4330 Currently is about to 500 dollars in USA. Where are u from?
@@kevincubides456 $500 is a good price. I’m from Netherlands. I guess the whole difference in price comes from government screwing us over on 21% sales tax.
im currently on an aging but still working GTX 1080 and knowing the competition being Nvidia is the most price gouging of the two despite the pros and cons between the two big brands respectively, the 7800xt might be my next card regarding performance (my current resolution limit is 1440p since 4k is still too overpriced) and value for money. all that with the regard of the fact that most GPUs last around 8 years max if theyre taken care of properly :)
all of the above, otherwise i could save a bit more by going for the 7700 xt
@@niemoikein4330 People in the US still have to pay sales tax on top of that $500 price, you know.
I think you can get a bit more performance out of the cards if you undervolt them, especially the 7800 XT. I've seen some interesting stuff these past few days.
I have RX 7700 XT and I did undervolt/overclock, great performance and much cooler hot spot.
@@janissprudzans8631how fo you do that
I bought a gigabyte 7700 oc and it does pretty well
My particular card doesn't take undervolting as well as I've seen other peoples but other than that I've got a stable over clock
Just sucks that I can't go under 1100mv when I've seen people at 1015
U dont need a 7800 XT, 7700 XT is fine as it can play any game at 1440p max settings and enalbe fsr if u want ray tracing.
90 euro up 7800xt its a good deal !!!! 4gb more vram make her more futureproof tbh !!! there is no only 10fps up !!! 7800xt looking the king of badget for 1440p gaming!!!
Bro what's the difference between dual fan and triple fan gpu in temps and sound.
3 fan is louder the higher rpm speed
@@nauview1139 No 3 fans is not louder, 2 fans are louder because 2 fans model have smaller heatsink. To get less noise always take 3 fans model.
Build quality and better quality and safer when buying 2nd hand gpus
4070 vs 7700 pls
Do you guys think an i5-9600K OC to 5GHz will bottleneck heavily any of these GPUs at 1080p?
i d recommend the 6750xt
of course.9600k even bottleneck rtx 3060 ) in 1080p sometimes my 12400 bottleneck rtx4070
@@user_GE i got the 12600k over the 12400 just for that the 12600k is better for gaming
13400f is like $180-$200
For 1080 lower GPU would be great. What about 7700xt or 7800 or 4070 super, those GPUs are too strong for 1080p and are not load at 100% of their power, but stiil would have a cool perfomance.
i got a used white asus tuf 7800xt for 480$ im so happy
microcenter has the rx7800xt for $489, I bought one.
Would be great if these cards were 100 bucks cheaper in Canada
And how much do they cost in Canada?
10 FPS difference, wow. Keeping my brilliant red devil 6800 xt 16GB. And if I had to pick one of these, Id get the 7700XT = better value, especially if the prices go down. From what Ive seen, theres a huge gap between 6700 xt and 7700 xt, but little to no gap between 6800 xt and 7800 xt. In some games, the 6800 xt even beats the newer 7800 xt, weird...
my 6700xt is still rocking . the 6700xt is probably 10fps lower then 7700xt .
@@jeroen5736 the 6700xt is honestly a perfect budget card for 1080p and also 1440p. Can do some custom 4k, as I've seen. Power consumption like 3060ti or less, FPS like 3070, 12GB vram and price like 3060 or lower. But to inform you, there is like 5% difference to no difference in some games between 6800xt and 7800xt. But there is a lot difference between 6700xt and 7700xt. I've seen the test.
One guy even claimed some weird thing that there's more new tech in the 7700xt than the 7800xt. He probably mean compared to older versions in the 6000 line. However, in 15 games, each graph has shown the 6800xt and 7800xt being at each other's neck. The 7700xt was slightly under them, yet the 6700xt was way below them.
However, I always say, that from the old usable Gen, beat ultra budget were the gtx 1060 and rx 580. Most used on steam charts was the 1060, now it's the 3060. But people are dumb, and most are uninformed. They just know nevidia.
The 6700xt crushes a 3060 and even 3060ti for less money and the power of a 3070. And now it even beats a 3070 in most games due to drivers. And I don't care for DLSs or the upcoming FSR 3. Why? It never EVER looks exactly like native.
6700xt for 1080p will be relevant for years.
@@ancientslav4863tell me please what videocard to choose for 2k, i have monitor 170 hrz, for 2-3 years, 7700xt? I would playe world of tanks and some more games maybe.
The small performance difference is there because rx 7800 xt is a new card and it will get performance improvements through driver updates and it might even become as powerful as 4070ti,just like 6700xt which was as powerful as 3060 when it released and now it can beat 3060 ti and even be as powerful as 3070
yes sir i just got one for 450.00 the 7700XT Powercooler Hellbound edition because the 7800XT (same brand and model cost 529.00) was sold out and after use it no need for the 7800xt unles i want 10 to 12 more FPS, in this video is all ultra and high settings but if you turn on FSR it double up plus some games you just need to take them from ultra seting to high setting which the diference is not to big and done, example i was playing Cyber punk with FSR on high seting and Ray Tracing on medium and it play 70 to 80 fps enough to have an amazing expiriance. My PC is the 5600x, Radeon 7700xt, 32G @ 3600MHZ and a PNY M.2 2TB 5,000 MB/s read and 4,200 MB/s write speeds.
Why is my 3070 getting better benchmarks than my new 7700 xt on Heaven Benchmark? Confused...
found a pre-build 7600x + 7700xt + Asus Prime B650-PLUS Gaming + DDR5 16 gb ram 5600MHZ 750 wat psu for 1489 euro but is it worth to give 170 euro more for 7800Xt same specs
In long term yes, short term no. 7700xt will last up to 3 years max 7800xt will minimum 5 due to 4gb more vram.
In that bulid consider to change ram to 2x16gb 5600 c30
I got this pc im happy whit it but only in apex legends my game closing automaticly whitout crashing error?
@@7zvyhtemaas Don't spread false info. The GPU can last 10 years if the user isn't fussed and plays low intensive games/ doesn't mind setting everything to low. Different people have different use cases.
Thanks for this, 7800xt it is
What do I pair with a 5500 or a 5600x for a 1440p 1k build
6750xt or 7700xt
Gpu temp different is 20c when almost same power using how it's iven possible
The 7800xt is using nearly 50 more watts- that creates a lot more heat.
50 max give 6-7 c not 20c

Can i use a ryzen 5 5600x with a 7800 xt
yes
yes you can the 5600X is a beast of a CPU fore gaming, if you want to game and stream? or make some video editing then the 5800X3D will be a better option but cost twice the price.
Hello everyone is looking for a 7700xt undervolt video, if you make it, it will be the first video on CZcams should be a big hit for the views 👍
Yeah nice try.
@@LionardOccS don't need a undervolt video now, just buy a 7700xt today I'll undervolt it myself.
I would buy the 6800xt but unfortunately the 7800xt is far cheaper here😅
Do you think a good quality 600w gold power supply can withstand an RX 7700 XT and a Ryzen 5700x3d?
You can see the requirement on the AMD website
@@ga0ug 😮
No, 750w minimum

Which to get if there’s a 90$ gap?
7800xt for sure
@@thishallakshan7410 what if the difference is 115$?
That was my situation the 7700XT hellbound is 450 the same one but the 7800xt is 530.00 i select the 7700xt and dont regrated i use the extra 90 i save to buy a 2TB M.2 and o far i love it, CyberPunk with FSR balance settings and on high settings with ray Tracing on medium settings give me from 60 to 70 FPS enought to enjoy the game, other games like Resident evil 2, 3,and 4 remake go over 120FPS using FSR, only reason i will go with the 7800xt is if you wnt to play some game on 4K (which the 7800XT can hadle few os them as long you dont go RT and ultra settings) or if you think 12G of VRAM is not enough which right now 12g is the new 8g.
@@themetalgameralexmontalvo8088 I pulled the trigger and got the 7700xt. No regrets, amazing card. Cool and quiet and everything I need. 12gb vram seems to be the sweet spot too
@@themetalgameralexmontalvo80881080 or 114?
Which one to get if there is only a £60 price difference
7800 XT.
7800XT, 13% higher in cost but 15-20% better performance on average.
7800xt. Only 10~ fps difference but thats a big difference when its 50 fps on the 7700xt like with Ratchet and Clank compared to 60 fps on the 7800xt as it`ll be a lot smoother.
@@mingdug1824 yes and no, because you can use FSR or low some setting and you will get 60FPS or way more with FSR.
none both are ass, get the 6800xt but if you wanna risk it go for 7800xt as there might be driver improvements down the line
Nice
7800xt 74 degrees. 7700 xt is 58C. 7800 xt is Hotter, its not good, But 10-11 fps more. Now i have a problem, what to choose. 😂
