Gillson Lavis is a great great drummer. But I dont know what he's doing here with them drum fills.

Why not the drummer from the selector!!! he has been playing selector tunes for decades, sorry but that drummer did not do the job lumpy and chumpy
I'm afraid you are wrong about Charlie 'H' Bembridge who WAS the original drummer for the Selecter as he was rather sadly dropped by the band around the time the second album came out called "Celebrate The Bullet"...
No one has been playing drums for decades in any of the incarnations of The Selecter and there has been a fair number of session musician drummers used over the decades but never just the one drummer...
In fact it wasn't until just last year the Charlie 'H' and Pauline and Gaps version of The Selecter finally put their difference behind them and Charlie finally rejoined them...
Over the decades I've spoken to Charlie about him being dropped right at the height of the bands popularity and to say it saddened and upset him would be something of an understatement...
Happily he's now back where he belongs and rightfully so... 😉
PS: If there's one surefire way to piss of both the band and fans then that is to incorrectly call them the "Selector" !!! 😮 (gawd knows why some people can't even spell their name correctly, especially when it's right in front of them !!!) 🙄

@@joeread9533 That's nothing more than your opinion to which you are of course entitled but methinks you are over exaggerating somewhat and considering the fact you couldn't even spell the bands name correctly and were completely wrong about the original drummer then I can't help but think you really don't have a clue regarding anything about The Selecter... 🙄
