A great is great lively version Sista Pauline, keep going strong our good Queen of Ska😘 you are my female inspiration in music, since you first get up and rock. Rock against Racism and to give the people what they want GREAT MUSIC OF COURSE. Light and Love from your Brother JB 😉
I think that, before coming on stage, Pauline Black should listen to her own recordings. That way, she’ll remember what her songs are supposed to sound like, and what the audience is expecting to hear. So many aging performers try to alter the arrangement when performing live. Why?! Self indulgence, that’s why. People want the music to sound like the record, like it sounded on Top of the Pops (the same recording).
I believe they do it to accommodate their changing/aging voices. Songs are rearranged & notes dumbed down. Many performers use backing singers to perform the harder parts & people like Robbie Williams will hold the mic out to the crowd to sing the song!
SUPERB!

Pauline Black is simply the standard for all other frontpeople to follow.
