Managed to buy 07 540i V8 only 20 000km facelift (exact same interior and auto shifter as your video), black 18 inch factory mags , 18 months ago for USD 10K (in my country New Zealand).. absolutely awesome! So reliable , so much performance and looks phenomenal! Absolute bargain!
Looks so much more beautiful than the hideous new G60 2024 5 series. I would never sell mine for only 10k. I'm going to keep it forever and just replace parts as they wear out. If you do the CIC retrofit and Combox upgrade for Bluetooth Audio and Spotify there will be no need for any newer 5 series.😊

Is it still possible to activate bmw apps such as spotify internet and furthermore I have bmw e60 2008 lci there is a bn2000 combox present in my car you can gladly answer
You first need to retrofit the CIC IDrive if it hasn't been done already -> www.bimmer-tech.net/category-bmw-cic-navigation-system-retrofit
Then you need to make sure the Combox is coded so you have bluetooth audio and enhanced USB (support for apple usb cable) -> www.bimmer-tech.net/category-bmw-combox-retrofit
I would send a message to BimmerTech and ask them about coding BMW Apps (that's how I got it) because I don't see a link on their website anymore. Ask them to give you a discount because it doesn't support as many apps as when it was first released. I have just used Spotify, ConnectedDrive navigation, and Audible.
Nice ride, but both hood and trunk struts are broken. Trunk (only right side) costs 24 Eur and hood just 18 Eur (for both sides). Hood should open by itself when lifting up a few inches. Trunk should open slowly and stop slowly. Yours is shooting up and might even damage other parts.

Car is LCI, the N54 engine was fist introduced on the facelift 2008 model 535i e60 in North America. Also the CIC Idrive was only available on the 2010 E60s in North America.

No, it will only work on an LCI E60 which started in 2007 in Europe & 2008 in North America. I would recommend selling your car while you can still get a decent amount and try to find a 2010 550i or 535i. The prices have bottomed for all E60s by now so there is not much price difference between a 2006 & 2010 since most people don't know about all the upgrades you get with the LCI.
Just supercharge your 550I it'll be as fast as an m5 if not faster my boy got one in his and it whoops stock m5's ess makes them, I'm currently waiting for mine to come in, I'll post some videos soon 💪🏼🙏🏼

I have 20” rims on my 08 535i came with them and for one they look so damn good way better than those no offense those are stock and this is my first car 71k when bought 80k now but the smoothest car I’ve ever driven and that’s on my mom lol

LCI started in halfway through 07. I own a 07 LCI 535d.
In Europe it started in 2007. In North America it was 2008. Every single North American 2007 E60 I have seen has been pre-LCI.

Ah I’ve got the pre lci 5 series. It’s fully optioned out, but the quality of the options such as the sports package in your car is way superior to mine. For example I have a sports steering wheel but it does not have the M sport badge on it

There are 4 different sound systen options in an LCI E60 and Individual Audio is truly impressive. Didn't looj at the video though, he lost me at the title - the car has no distronic active cruise control that is literally the best optional equipment here. Also no voice recognition, but I love the CIC (that has been retrofitted, otherwise it would have a different i-drive controller).
@@zokieboi I didn’t watch the full video but are you sure he doesn’t have adaptive cruise control, which was awesome that it was stop and go, my fully loaded 2019 mini Cooper S doesn’t even have stop and go cruise control but I had an Infiniti in 2003 that had it, his windshield looks like it has the radar for the adaptive cruise control, that cut out looks too big to be the rain sensor

Euro spec m, sport comes with 19s from factory so 18s is not correct spec
This is North American spec. M-sport 535i came with 18s and only M-sport 550i came with 19s

I also just recently got a 2010 520d and if it had all the the options as my 535i, I would love that one even more! The 520d gets me 1300km per gas tank! 6.5 L/100km combined!

No way! Go to 12:00, the car came with Logic 7 from factory but that system is actually very MEDIOCRE.The speakers I show you at 11:01 are the Logic 7 speakers that were in the car before. I replaced them with the BAVSOUND Stage 1 and Ghost Woofers which are MUCH better than the Logic 7 and they are plug and play drop in upgrades for the factory speakers. Night and day difference.

well okay it is more powerful engine than thi pre-lci but it is not a better engine. the pre-lci models has a stronger engine. this engine is lighter because BMW replaced the cast iron engine with aluminium enginge. the automatic gearbox and the electric moduls and these stuff is better. I have a 525d pre-lci with 400.000 km. and nearly bone stock engine. it has a small tune with 200hp and 500nm. and that is just the only difference with the bone stock engine. everything is original in the engine. but the lci models timing chains can only last for 200.000-250.000 km. And in my opinion the pre-lci door panels are nicer than the lci. These things are depend on us, right?

Those are the incorrect wheels for a 550i m pack, someone stole the cool ones off at some point. From factory they should have style 172. Your wheels look like the zhp style 135 e46 wheels which are considerably smaller width/diameter

They are far from comfortable compared to a good normal tire
Also all season tires are just not it, they combine summer and winter but they don’t perform as good as a summer tire in summer or winter tire in the winter

lol , I have an BMW E92 M3 V8 6SPD manual it’s phenomenal! I have tracked it regularly. But I also have the E60 540i V8 facelift as a daily driver. The E60 is awesome , handles superb and has a much softer ride especially on long trips and is still 310 hp! I may get an 2020 Aston Martin DB11 (my friend is service manager here in Nz
) but only in the V12 as apart from the stunning AM looks and V12 note the 540i is comparable. After all the 540i designed to cruise 200-250kmh on the autobahn.

The wheels are honestly absolutely garbage should’ve gone with the 172 style 19 inch (spider) ones they look so much nicer with that body style I know bc I owned one.
