Brother, you did nothing wrong. You have beautiful history, be proud of your history even if your ancestors killed our people, our ancestors did it too. We have to be strong together against western wokenes and eastern moslems.
I will be biased as a Lithuanian, but I would say, Lithuanias were actually quite peaceful. If you look in to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania creation. Lithuanians didn't enforce many restrictions (compared to other empires), mostly just tax. If you practice other religions, languages, cultures - all that was fine in the ancient GDL. You swear loyalty to us, pay tax and we will defend you. Also, a lot of lands were "conquered" by peaceful means: marriages, economic deals.
One of the example of this is contemporary relationship between Ukraine and Lithuania. Even though we are different people, our shared history keeps us at strong ties. Both people respect each other, to almost a level we call each other brothers and sisters. We adore our built statues and ancient castles - unlike for example USSR time, where we were forcibly occupied, had many restrictions and cruelty from the Kremlin. Wish we also had a similar relationship with Belarus (or Ruthenia), but russian propaganda is strong there and they try to keep us collided.
To be fair the Lithuanians dealt with multiple attacks by the Teutonic knights and various groups committing horrible acts in the guise of converting them to Christianity.
