Low quality, but fans today won't realise that only a handful of games were filmed each week. This game wasn't on tv. I can even recall the newspaper reports saying what a shame it was that there were no tv cameras to record Falco's first goal. This would have been filmed on a bog-standard camcorder by a member of staff, probably for training purposes, so they could review things later.

It's pretty good camerawork if it was done on a camcorder.

We dont realise how much technology has improved since those days, And being able to take photos and videos, and share it so easily is so easy these days with smartphones and tablets
In those days, all this was the stuff of science fiction
It makes people stop and think how far we've come in communications technology

@@albion7000 It would have been dubbed on later (years later). Really, this game was not on TV. I remember it very clearly. It wasn't even filmed from the TV gantry, as that's on the East Stand, opposite, and this guy wasn't one of the commentators from the 80s (there weren't that many). You can even see a fan's head get in the way after the fourth goal, as is becomes clear it was filmed from with the stand, not a tv gantry.

I was there , in the days when 14 year olds could go to a top game with " pocket money "(£1.10 kids, £2.20 adults).
Go to the game without having to buy a ticket beforehand . Days when grounds would be packed 90 minutes before kick off.
Not saying it was better, just how it was. However, there was matches at the Lane that had only 17,000 in mid 80's.
as school kids use to go watch spurs one weekend and next weekend go with a school mate to Arsenal or West Ham, . Adults can't afford that now, forget about kid's.
