Australia for sure, some of the most unique animals on earth that have barely been scratched. If not there then somewhere in Africa or Latin America would be great.
I hope we get more regional forms in Pokémon Legends Z-A. Also, as of 2024(since there debut in 2016 Sun & Moon), we never got a Bug type regional form. Also, as of 2024, not a single Pokémon from Sinnoh got a regional form outside of Sinnoh.
I really hope PLZA gives us a Bug-type regional form or 2, because, Megas aside, the only new Bug-type family introduced in Kalos was Vivillon

One thing to take note of is that if we are getting a new pokemon game this year (which is doubtful) it would be announced next month during the nintendo presents when they announce all the new games coming out for the remainder of this year

I’d love Gen 10 to introduce a “cross breeding” mechanic to play on the Roman numeral 10 being an X. Introduce a few mons that can only be obtained by breeding. Would actually make breeding part of the game beyond IV training.

Yeah like maybe a new Pokémon that you can get from breeding a Mudsdale and Rapidash, and depending on the Rapidash form, the offspring will have a different type combo!

I enjoy the speculation parts of the video still! Like you said, while there isn’t much to go over yet it’s fun to see what pops up on 4chan. Just turn it off if you don’t like it. I’ve been consistently watching this channel and a few other Poketubers for like 2 years now and I know that clickbait-y titles just come along with CZcams lol. I’ve heard the CZcams algorithm has become very tough and certain words and even this type of thumbnail just does better. I don’t blame content creators for doing what works. Hdvee makes it look easy, but I know it does take a lot of time and effort to do daily videos!
I think the "6 smaller regions" they mean loke sevii island, not that i believe the rumour but yeah i dont think they mean 6 full regions, and in more modern case, kitakami and bb academy
They lost me at China. The Pokemon Company will never do a Chinese Region due to Japan/China relations. The conservatives in Japan would make it into a whole thing and the Chinese, both the government and online community, should anything be considered offensive to them in the game, would also make it into an whole issue, which is just bad marketing. Same reason why there will never be a Pokemon Taiwan. The only Asian nations I see the Pokemon Co. adapting into a region any time soon are A) India or B) South Korea. South Korea and Japan have similar issues, but tensions aren't so bad these days and South Korea has a huge fanbase as well.

@@zephdo2971 Hong Kong has the same issues above with China/Japan relations. Singapore is a good option though and one I forgot to consider! I still say India has a better shot, but Singapore is probably more likely than South Korea.
We got Luminous Ocean in May as well. 2 games in May to make up for no game in April.

There's a rumor of a spec leak that says that the Switch successor will be on the same baseline performance as the PS4, so if that's true, then a multi-regional game wouldn't be that far-fetched (pun intended?), but I ain't gonna hold my breath.

Well I hope that of new Pokémon there are:
185-215 brand new ordinary Pokémon
The 1 legendary be the A legendary
50-60 regional form + evolution
120-130 convergent species Pokémon
1 mythical Pokémon
15 mega evolutions (including mega flygon!)
They can easily make a game with multiple regions lol Skyrim is on the switch and u can do to so many different big open places. Tears of the kingdom has a HUGE map and it works so seamlessly. I can see it being a thing over the next few generations

G5 remakes sound dope, considering I didn't get the chance to play them and I'd like to.
I think that all this information is very interesting I think this tread mark will be for the TCG I think the Nintendo Direct will anounced a couple of remakes for the at couple of Month including either Black and White remakes or Let’s go Johto and I’m going with 50/50 wether this rumour is real or not.

Console can only bruteforce so much. We could have had a really could have had decent performance on the original switch if they implemented any techniques from the past 15 years
Let's Go and SwSh, even BDSP, have wonderful graphics and are actually beautiful games. If they go more openworld RPG and more realistic designs (which I hope they don't, but I understand people love that) they definitley need to upgrade. But that would only happen in Gen10 anyways. For remakes and also ZA probably, the switch is good enough. The issues with performance are more an issue with slacking, which is visible when you look at other switch releases. (:
I’m somewhat excited for the next Gen 10 of Pokémon however my biggest fear is that it’ll run like crap and be broken at launch. I really hope that we don’t have another S\V situation
Due to the technical performances with Scarlett/Violet I waited for a full calendar year to get violet specifically, and even when I tried it out for the first time the technical performance really ruined the gaming experience for me and then a few weeks later I sold it because I felt like I wasted a full $60

Technically it kinda makes since. Say there were more in the past, over time certain pokemon could have lost the ability to mega evolve leaving us the ones we know of today. Or there are mega stones that was lost to LEGENDS and time had forgotten some of the stones.

I vote Australia for the country has 100 unique animals there, so gamefreak should take note and make an Australian region that has ONLY 100% brand new Pokémon and no returning Pokémon or anything related to old Pokémon. Heck! Not even regional variants or convergent species of any kind. Just pure unique and different Pokémon that don’t appear in any other region and that were never seen before. That would make that region the most unique Pokémon region ever

Sorry but gen 5 remakes will not happen. With two remakes on the switch already, pokemon presents in february revealing no game for this year and BDSP only being out for three years - gen 5 remakes have zero chance of happening. Also we already went to Unova in the Indigo Disk DLC for Scarlet and Violet. Trademarks are not really hints and Trading cards doesn't hint new games. Rumor is fake because BW remakes won't have areas from BW2.

@@barneynedward oh yeah. I am not denying the possibility of gen 5 remakes entirely. Just for the Switch and for this year. If we look back at past game systems with pokemon games, there was one remake per game system. Switch had the exception with Lets Go and BDSP. But the remakes will happen in the future. But I believe the next remakes will be on the next console.

It’s just so weird how they’re all being so Hateful towards Khu for getting a leak wrong. It’s not that deep and serious, on top of that, no one actually cares because they never share actual Pictures and Gameplay Footage.

Hoping they take more time and wait for at least 2026, especially if it's on a new console. 3 years is just not enough time for these games, but I doubt they will change their release strategy sadly.

Not necessarily. Could be scrapped features that never made it out of the chopping board. Nothing is guaranteed until Game Freak themselves reveals it. He's far more reliable than the BS you find at 4chan and their "parents work at Nintendo" bull. If this was true, Game Freak/Nintendo ALWAYS hunt them down and fire them on the spot.

My thoughts on rumor would be sick to get generation based of China some of Pokémon in gen9 were based of China things or name so it would be so cool to go there on my list that like top 5 for me of place i love to go in a Pokémon game. yes, i would not mind gen 5 remake in ilica style in November. it is crazy how Nintendo is giving us big remake game and some actual for switch and weird Pokémon does have anything, but pocket will see what happens. i am really happy about physical staying on switch I was little worried and i now there always Pokémon that do physical it just weird with all the digital stuff. Gen 4 is done, they got BDSP and PLA no gen 4 content until Gen 2,3,5,6,7 are given content.
Not happening, but this should be how they do remakes, or at least merge both version into one, so that there aren't version exclusives, making it the definitive version.
