The next console was never planned for this year. There was no chance it was coming out this year. Pyoro is not a leaker. Gen 5 remakes is never going to happen this year. Nope. Pokemon Presents in June only happen in 2020. All Presents after that are in February and August. No chance that we see a Presents in June. The rumor is false since it is far too early for anyone to know info on the games.

I think we'll get a Pokémon Presents in June, not exactly at the date the leak says though. I think we'll get a Nintendo Direct mid-June and 2 weeks later we'll get the Pokémon Presents. On the Legends topic, tbh, i don't want regional forms, i rather convergent forms with a whole new evolution, or simply get new evolutions for "original" forms

If Nintendo has a Nintendo Direct on the 6th of June that would feel like an early Birthday present to me. Also, if it doesn't happen I will look forward to the next new Pokémon Presents. Lastly, the ZA Aura rumor might have some truth to it & I like how it sounds.

The reveal trailer for BDSP was in February and the games launched in November. Thats 9 months of marketing for a remake. If a Gen 5 remake were in the works we would already had alleast a teaser trailer or something and i doubt a brand new Pokemon remake on a Nintendo direct tbh

They not remastering Switch games on the next consoles. Once again, Gen 5 remakes will never happen this year and on the Switch. We have two remakes on the Switch already and BDSP was in 2021. Also they won't announce BW remakes in a Nintendo Direct. The "leakers" lied about the remakes. Fans can go a year without a pokemon game.

I would adore like 99% of these if they where true, especially the skylanders game, there was a huge rumor for a while in the skylanders community after an interview with one of the higher ups in Microsoft about buying Blizzard that he wanted to see more skylanders games and such made, and if they did remake them it could potentially breathe life back into amiibo too? For the Nintendo Direct, if there is one. That's gonna fall on a Thursday if it's June 6th, which is a day before Summer Game Fest, so it's very possible we could have one. Just because PlayStation, Microsoft and Nintendo normally try to push out their Showcases/Directs before big gaming events. Also, Nintendo is not gonna be showing anything at Gamescom this year, but there wasn't anything ever said that they wouldn't be showcasing anything Summer Game Fest, which would be a good time to announce the Switch 2 there, since Summer Game Fest is the new E3 now. Rip E3 btw. So I'll definitely keep this up in the air, good video Matt!

Gen 5 the 🐐

Pokémon has appeared in the past in standard Nintendo Direct but i feel like this time around they'd wait for a Pokémon Presents in June/July to show more news, i don't believe gen 5 anything will get announced for this year, but i can believe we'll see a brief gameplay trailer there for Z-A, then at Worlds in August they're going to show something related to mechanics, so my guess is they're gonna show some (new) mega evolutions, and we'll get the final Z-A trailer somewhere around November of this year

That feels like a huge list of games for one Direct. If that is legit, it's going to make for a long presentation, or clusters of those games are only going to get brief mentions in those mid-show montages while the big titles get meaningful-length segments. Either way I'd see it as a win personally if we get Pokemon BW, Zelda HD, and the Sonic x Shadow game info.
