The item comparison is huge in the accessibility front. Being overwhelmed with a bunch of items when starting out is pretty daunting so getting that clear side by side with +/- is really nice to see. Really looking forward to the EU playtest and I hope the 7-day format becomes more common in the future. Also as someone from the UK hearing "London" servers instead of Frankfurt gives me a kind of childlike glee I didn't think I was capable of feeling lmao
Eh. Made the level 4 power spike too damn strong. Alongside that, the map was clearly not designed with level 4 gliders in mind, meaning many useless areas that you can drop into a dead-end and can't traverse.
We heard that too! That was the counter-point we heard /a lot/ from folks who liked the 'no gliders until level 4' but when we weighed the work necessary to make this change really vibe, we felt we could invest elsewhere. Definitely one of the harder trades we've made, but that's game development!
@@SUPERVIVE i love your approach to this and many other changes. this openness is really refreshing and also reassuring. i might be overstepping here but i feel like if in the distant future, for some crazy ass magical reason it turned out that lv1 gliders was clearly detrimental to the game, that u guys wouldnt be afraid to put in the necessary work to work around it. ur commitment to this game is beautiful to see! cant wait for South american servers and full release!!!
UI and visual clarity was the main thing I found difficult to digest in the playtests I participated in. Super glad to see you guys working on that here, appreciate y'all
Its a bit early, but would love to see a video or post about art style and the art direction of the project. Like what are the key concepts, limitations of what can and cannot be in the game. Visual overall feels good if only a bit unclear. It has strong parts, a bit of (obviously) Rito art vibe. But I also see a potential to fall into generic-corpo-whimsical-futurism or battlerite/paladins all-over-the-place-B-movie-game style. I feel like 3:23 - 3:26 visual change is a step into that direction. I hope the game is going to have a good box character(s) to clearly define it and associate with.
The UI for the battle pass make it look like you only unlock that specific character at that specific level. Maybe have something like a Character ticket instead or a clearer indicator that you can change the character you unlock in the battle pass
I still haven't gotten an invite code, but anxiously waiting to try Loki out! I love these blog videos though, the transparency at such an early stage is awesome.
Does this game have Blocking/Parries/Shielding/Counters for all characters? It'd be a great add on to dodging/dashing and adds higher skill ceiling. Of course with cooldown.
Though exciting to see a new MOBA with an experienced team in the vein of Battlerite, something that dampened my hype was the stylized UI and messy overlap of skills+ ability indicators in teamfights. Artsyle is reminiscent of Valorant, Project L (Riot fighting game). YES, pre pre pre pre Alpha, but I hesitate with the artstyle direction IF it isn't highly customizable. With custom maps, doodads, skill indicators and overlays. There is something endearing with a rustic artstyle that makes characters feel "SOLID" rather than almost cel shaded, flat 2D polygons. The trade off is a decrease in visibility (depending), but the lighting is paramount here, and old Dota 2 tests (2011-2015) highlight this best.
Add to this the colour palette. If there is decent customization on that, to allow the players more autumn colours, less neon distractions, then this game would be more appealing. (Having choices is a nice way to see if we can bring more players to the table).
I feel like the gameplay is too fast, the projectiles are too fast, the movement is too fast, the damage is too big. Might wanna take a look at VRising to tune it down a bit.

Multiple browsers, multiple reinstall (Both launcher and browsers / set browsers to default) but no luck. Other launchers works fine.

The Gliders at level 4 made early fights so much more fun. Less running just to try to get an each anchor kill.

Why London? Shouldn't EU server be in the middle of Europe?
If you go by population density then London is a reasonable choice. France would probably make more sense but the language barrier could be an issue.
