Honestly unbelievably polished for such an early state, marvel rivals isn't anywhere near the level of optimization this game has not that theyre competitors or anything but in terms of both being in early development this team has done a phenomenal job. The game plays like a finished product to me but im sure theres much more coming

I think legendary skins would be cool, with like gliders that are built in. Imagine a fae-like skin and your glider isnt just a glider, but its wings attatched to you?
I'm really looking forward to seeing some sort of mastery system in the game, even if not in launch. I think showcasing your "dedication" to a specific character is extremely important to players. League recently made a HUGE blunder in their game by just trivializing that system and just making worse than it was and it's a great example of how to NOT handle a system, so I expect you guys at theorycraft do be able do do a much better job that will satisfy us just as much as the core content of the game currently does!

Excited about a lot that was announced here, but really not a big fan of taking one of the worst aspects of Valorant's predatory monetization. I think its fine if "skin upgrades" are just chromas with a special variant for owning them all like what is shown here, but if it also means locking things that should be just a part of the base skin, such as vfx or changes to animations, I can't say I'll want to spend. I'm also really tired of every game having a rotating shop, just let me buy what I want please. While I see the benefits monetarily from the FOMO, I think its a huge double edged sword that ultimately creates a net negative for the consumer and business due to the dependence on assuming the consumer is always actively playing while simultaneously also running into the same problem FOMO always ultimately has, less long term profit. No other modern monetization tactic has made be spend *less* on games than this one. If every time I'm actively playing a game the cosmetics I want are out of rotation, I'm not exactly gonna spend much on the game. While fomo is definitely a very good tool for creating profits, these dedicated rotating shops create too much of it. If that's the route you guys really want to take please create a system where cosmetics are ensured to rotate in and out in a timely manner. Far too many games suffer from having too many cosmetics to rotate post launch and not having a system in place that can support getting them to players, especially in games where the shop is entirely rng. This is the most excited I've been for a game in a while and I want to be able to financially support the game. But, if the monetization relies far too much on predatory practices that a lot of large companies have used for short term increases in profit recently, I don't think I will. While I hope I can enjoy the cosmetics of this game, I'm positive I'll be playing on launch regardless. Really looking forward to seeing this project reach the finish line!
